I really like the way this one turned out. These pillowy/brain looking formations are hard to get right...

"To really love a Man,
Let him hold you,
Till you know how he needs to be touched.
You've got to breathe him, really taste him,
Till you can feel him in your blood.
And when you see your unborn children in his eyes ...
You know you really love a man".
Changed slighly, from the song by Bryan Adams:
Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?
( Bryan Adams )
To really love a woman,
To understand her,
You've got to know her deep inside ...
Hear every thought,
See every dream,
And give her wings when she wants to fly.
Then when you find yourself lying helpless in her arms ...
You know you really love a woman
When you love a woman,
You tell her that she's really wanted.
When you love a woman,
You tell her that she's the one.
She needs somebody, to tell her that it's gonna last forever.
So tell me have you ever really ... really, really ever loved a woman?
To really love a woman,
Let her hold you,
Till you know how she needs to be touched.
You've got to breathe her, really taste her,
Till you can feel her in your blood.
And when you see your unborn children in her eyes ...
You know you really love a woman.
When you love a woman,
You tell her that she's really wanted.
When you love a woman,
You tell her that she's the one.
She needs somebody, to tell her that it's gonna last forever.
So tell me have you ever really ... really, really ever loved a woman?
You've got to give her some faith,
Hold her tight, a little tenderness.
You've got to treat her right.
She will be there for you taking good care of you ...
You really gotta love your woman.
And when you find yourself lying helpless in her arms,
You know you really love a woman.
When you love a woman,
You tell her that she's really wanted.
When you love a woman,
You tell her that she's the one.
She needs somebody, to tell her that it's gonna last forever.
So tell me have you ever really ... really, really ever loved a woman?
So tell me have you ever really ... really, really ever loved a woman?
So tell me have you ever really ... really, really ever loved a woman?
'Sally FIELD —"You like me, you really like me" speech at the Oscars is one of the awards night's most memorable moments.'
'In the words made famous by Sally FIELDS at the Oscars: "You like me. You really like me!"'
They might not agree upon the spelling of Sally's last name, but one place they seem unanimous, is recalling an event where she gushed the infamous line, "You like me. You really like me!" when she accepted the 1985 Oscar for "Places in the Heart".
Here are two shots of a really tiny spider laying down a chaotic web on a prickly pear cactus in the garden. It was going up and down the sides of the cactus connecting the spines with webbing, maybe like the web in this photo from a few years ago. I got these shots in light rain without flash, and I was happy to get them as good as they are! I'm not sure what kind of spider it is, but it might be the smallest spider I've ever managed to photograph - just 230 pixels across in these 1:1 macro shots, which comes to 0.9 mm, about 1/32 inch. (See here for how I figured.) It's a wonder that I ever saw it, but it was moving. (San Marcos Pass, 9 January 2020)
Day 199 of 365.
Day 49 of B&W.
I posted a link to this image earlier in the week on FB and I think it's apt, since I really do spend so much time "really doing" that.

This is the second large boxcar Ive seen parked downtown in the last month. Not sure why they have been showing up here among the gondolas and reefers. Theres no industry around the area that deals with these types of cars. They are neat though.
After a summer of clearing pasture land and making room for more hay fields, there was a lot of scrap timber that needed burning. Burn bans were out all over SW Arkansas until about ten days ago.
Today the Bell Ranch, one of the biggest outfits around, was burning that scrap.
really wanted to cross the river to get some shots from the other side but didn't want to get my feet wet ! *note to self, be prepared & always have wellies & waterproofs with you ! lol
This bit of Tagus Cove had really old graffiti from visiting sailors and the like. The oldest bit is this carved-in "1836."

"Really?, " she said, puzzled, but friendly enough, " You sure you don't want one of me smiling instead?"
