This is the micro SD card from my new phone, plus a USB micro SD card reader. These things have gotten so small! The card is smaller than my pinky nail, and the reader doesn't even have the usual housing of a USB plug (rectangular metal surround), it just has the 'hot' contacts. This is pretty cool to me but it's already starting to seem like dressed-up old technology; in a couple of years won't everything be wireless?

William Roland Reader was the Superintendent for Calgary Parks and Cemeteries from 1913 – 1942. During that time, William collected 4000 different plant species, making this one of the most interesting gardens created in western Canada.

This photo was taken from one of the many narrow stone pathways that surround the house. Enjoy peaceful scenes like this only minutes south of Calgary's busy downtown core.
