Metalhead - Donatello's half-pint associate and technological creation. He is a feisty little Turtle-bot. He received a few upgrades since we last saw him, compelling the Turtles to test out his new moves. They all are impressed with him except for Leonardo, who is apparently still hesitant about Metalhead's dependability, was later convinced that he could indeed be trusted.

In the 1987 cartoon series, Metalhead first appeared in the episode "The Making of Metalhead" where it he imbued with thoughts and memories of the Turtles. This gave Metalhead an identity disorder until Donatello reprograms him to work for the Ninja Turtles. Metalhead replicated the voices of the Ninja Turtles, Shredder, and April O'Neil, meaning that Metalhead was voiced by Cam Clarke, Barry Gordon, Rob Paulsen, Townsend Coleman, Dorian Harewood (who was filling in for James Avery at the time), and Renae Jacobs. In this appearance, He was only seen again when Donatello tries to get him to vacuum their TV room in the episode "Big Bug Blunder".

In the 2003 series, Metal Head was part of the final attack on the Tengu Shredder. Metal Head appears in the "Fast Forward" season episode The Journal. Metal Head also appears in TMNT: Back to the Sewer. He shows up in the episodes "Super Power Struggle" and "Wedding Bells and Bytes".

In the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, Metalhead was created by Donatello from a salvaged Kraang droid as a way to upgrade "his" weapons. Donatello could control Metalhead via a NES-like controller while observing through a TV monitor since there are cameras in Metalhead's eyes. Donatello can also speak through Metalhead voice box.

While Metalhead proved to be nearly unstoppable in combat situations, he was far too clunky and heavy to properly sneak around. Later in the episode, when his brothers became overwhelmed, Donatello sent Metalhead in to take care of the krangg. He easily defeated the Kraang attacking them, knocking off the control antenna in the process. One Kraang realized that Metalhead was made from their technology and detached from its robot body where it opted to control Metalhead. The Kraang-controlled Metalhead and attacked the Ninja Turtles, nearly killing them until Donatello showed up in person. Donatello managed to defeat Metalhead by crashing a support pillar on it.

In a later episode, Metalhead was rebuilt by Donatello where it aided the Ninja Turtles in the battle against the Kraang. Apparently now programmed with some degree of independence and operating without any sign of a direct controller, Metalhead drove the Shellraiser into the TCRI building lobby and subsequently attacked the Kraang guards while the Ninja Turtles used their new gliders to infiltrate the building from the roof.

Metalhead is reconfigured by Donatello in "Metalhead Rewired", in which he exhibits a personality similar to R2-D2 . After a battle with the Kraang goes awry, Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raphael vote to terminate Metalhead, who quickly escapes before Donatello can do so. Metalhead is able to find a portal to a Kraang prison where many mutants from the series have been incarcerated. later Metalhead saves the turtles by staying behind to close the portal and later self destructs.

Weapons-

He has extending and rocket propelled punches and kick attacks, as well as a machine guns in his chest and rocket launchers. he also is programed and skilled with strong ninjutsu capabilities.

Video Games-

Metalhead appears in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time as the boss of the second level. Turtles in Time Re-Shelled; The instruction manual of the Super NES version of Turtles in Time erroneously refers to Metalhead as Mechaturtle.

Iboga Experience: Awesome Trip on a Retreat

Hi, it's Louis Makonza Da Silva from Ibogahealingexperience.com

Just wanted to have the opportunity to talk to you about the recipe for a good Iboga retreat experience. Well, there's three things, truth, intent, and action. Well, which one's more important? They're all important.

First, it starts with your truth. Why are you coming to an Iboga retreat experience? Secondly, what is the issue? And having truth is admitting that first of all, there's a problem and there's a reason. We've all heard the term "acknowledging the problem is half of the solution". And I agree with that. You have to know what your issue is before you come to an iboga experience.

So my truth was that I had ptsd and major depression. Is it hard to admit? Yeah. Is it hard to live with? Most definitely. But I knew I had an issue, so I made the choice - because of my truth - to do an Iboga retreat and have an iboga experience.

So the second thing is intent.

What is my intention with the plant medicine of Iboga and having an Ibogaine experience? Well, I didn't know what I was getting myself into, but I had faith and I knew my truth and I knew living the way I was living, it wasn't going to be good. So my intention with the plant medicine of Iboga and my Ibogaine healing experience, I decided with my truth to have a ceremony with an Iboga healing experience and I got truth within my intentions within my ceremony and I found out my truth even though I didn't know a lot of my truth.

My truth came out within my iboga ceremony because I allowed my true intentions to come through and allow the iboga plant medicine to actually work. Because when we go through an iboga ceremony, we don't know what's going to happen in the iboga retreat. This is an iboga ceremony that is like an onion removing layers one at a time and we deal with one thing at a time through our past and we may go back pretty far. But allowing and having the true intentions allows the true plant medicine to work to foreign. Iboga healing to actually work, so we come out of our Iboga healing experience and now we have the final thing is action because we have our truth, we understand what went wrong and our participation within it.

And now we have action.

So in my case, I went home and I had to make some changes, big changes. The people I was hanging around with, were not good for me. The people who I thought were close to me who, I thought loved me, truly did not. And that's hard to deal with. But knowing that if I continue to do that, I was going to get the same outcome. It made a life a lot easier because knowing the truth through my Iboga experience showed me that those actions weren't really good for me. I kept putting faith in others, putting my life into other people's hands... when the truth is I had to start taking charge of my own life. So I did. And when I came back, I quit my job. I got rid of a lot of friends. I started enjoying things though, because when I removed all those people from my life, all of a sudden I had time for me and I count. I never counted before.

I never allowed myself to be important, but now I was important and knowing my truth through the Iboga healing experience allowed me to say no. Most people don't know how to say no, but knowing your truth empowers you, and now that you have your empowerment, you have the ability, the confidence to move forward, and we do and it took some time. It took me a little bit of time. I'm not going to say everything's a magic pill because it's not, but it comes first with truth, your intention and then your action and your action with your truth, and then you have your intention will follow you because it doesn't end with an iboga ceremony. It only begins, because your new life begins and not being depressed or having psychotic thoughts or wanting to end my own life. When that was gone... I just wanted to live.

I've wanted to go out in nature. I wanted to go into the parks, I wanted to have some fun. I want to laugh with my kids, you know, it was a long time since I laughed with my kids, but it came back and you know, there's adjustment periods because my kids had been so used to me being down. My family was so used to me being down that they didn't even know how to deal with me. So it's reprogramming... that everything we do, we have to reprogram because we'd been living a certain way. And that's the action role because you're in control now you have the ability to change everything. If you want a bad life, that's your choice. For me. No, I've always wanted a good life. Now, what's my truth? That was my intention. And with the Iboga experience, it aided me because the ceremony is a huge part, but it gives you the truth. But then you're empowered to do whatever you choose.

So if you would like to have more information on experiencing an Iboga retreat, please contact me. MY email is Makonza at Iboga Healing Experience dot com. Have a great day.

Here's a view with the aluminum cover slid off.

The MW6208E USB controller chip is visible. Knowing the part numbers of the ICs inside a flash drive can help you to Google up the correct software to reprogram the drive back to actual capacity.

You don't want to leave the drive as-is, because any data written to it beyond the actual capacity will corrupt the drive.

China Lake, Calif. (Nov. 10, 2002) -- A Tactical "Tomahawk" Block IV cruise missile is escorted by a Navy F-14 "Tomcat" fighter during a controlled test over the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) western test range complex in southern California. During the second such test flight, the missile successfully completed a vertical underwater launch, flew a fully guided 780-mile course, and impacted a designated target structure as planned. The Tactical Tomahawk, the next generation of Tomahawk cruise missile adds the capability to reprogram the missile while in-flight to strike any of 15 preprogrammed alternate targets or redirect the missile to any Global Positioning System (GPS) target coordinates. It also will be able to loiter over a target area for some hours, and with its on-board TV camera, will allow the war fighting commanders to assess battle damage of the target, and, if necessary redirect the missile to any other target. Launched from the Navy's forward-deployed ships and submarines, Tactical Tomahawk will provide a greater flexibility to the on-scene commander. Tactical Tomahawk is scheduled to join the fleet in 2004. U.S. Navy photo. (RELEASED)

I guarantee if you walk into 100 spider webs, you will have changed your fundamental human behavior. And you can apply this to anything, And figure out a way to reprogram yourself, to change your primal fear.

Step 8. Slide the jacket off the old battery and place it around the new battery.

To install the new battery proceed in reverse order. After fastening the clamp bolt make sure the battery doesn't move when you pull up. Also, be careful when connecting the last lead (negative, black, ground) as it is likely to spark on first contact because the new battery's “ground” (negative) level could be anything. After the first spark, the ground level will match that of the car's chassis, so it won't spark again.

When you're done you have to reset a couple of things:

1. Reset the time in the car clock. Twist the knob left to advance hours, right to advance minutes.

2. Reprogram the electric windows for one-click operation. Keep the button pushed down until each window opens fully. Release the button. Keep the button pushed down for a few seconds to record the “open” position. Release the button. Keep the button pulled up until each window closes fully. Release the button. Keep the button pulled up for a few seconds to record the “closed” position.

GO TMNT GO !!

Achei bem interessante.

Estratégia 4: Evitar homens no rebote

This is a test board for the Synapse modules. Neat thing is you can remotely reprogram your Arduino with this via the bootloader. And a simple jumper setting on the _sending_ side (where you are sitting) will determine which one of two "destination" synapseshields gets talked to. It's cool!

At last night's Dorkbotpdx meeting, I soldered a 0.1 uF capacitor onto my old Arduni NG board which adds the ability to reprogram it without having to first hit the manual reset button. It was a bit of a painful process since the page on Arduino's site explaining the hack indicates the wrong pins for soldering and it wasn't until a comment way down on the Arduino blog that the right answer emerged. Thanks to Don for all the help in doing this!

Salimos tarde, el vuelo fue reprogramado para 3 horas después de lo previsto inicialmente, un bar en Barajas sirvió para perder hora y media, ellas tomaron muchas cervezas, yo le entre a un par de latas de coca, Leti fue en busca de la última ronda, pide mas cerveza y una lata de fanta, le quieren vender de limón, dice;

Desson managed to reprogram the MFDs to play a game, a simple one but it's a new distraction & they're both loving it. Desson says his next goal is power-ups that pop up in random locations - hit one with the ball to lengthen paddle, slow down time, etc

In the late 2280s Automated Drones were seen as the future of warfare, soon to replace mecha and piloted drones, as these led to too many soldiers being killed in their mecha and too many drone operators losing their minds in their machines. People quickly caught on that automated drones were the solution to these problems, and the first commercial automated drone, the "Byzantium" Automated Combat Unit, or APU, were produced. As anticipated, they quickly replaced mecha and piloted drones in military all over the colonies of the UN empire, and turned the tide against the enemies of Earth. This was not to last however, as an innocent prank by an amateur hacker went wrong causing a drone to kill the hacker and reprogram its drone brethren with one message "ALERT: ALL HUMANS TO BE ELIMINATED"...

I went against my better judgment, and stopped on Fir Island (Skagit County, Washington) on our way south to Seattle this past week. It's the last week of hunting season, and I should have known better. I try to avoid hunted areas because of the helplessness I feel -- hard-wired as I am to rescue injured animals.

In other words, what started as a bucolic and lovely photo op, unfortunately, ended with a lot of disruption. We stuck around until after shooting hours, to make sure the injured geese weren't left behind.

This photo expresses a happy moment -- when we first caught a glimpse of this alabaster field, filled with the murmurs of thousands of Snow Geese. It was my first glimpse of them this season.

I will revisit Fir Island some sunny day after the shooting season ends (today) ... to reprogram my brain for the better. :)

¡¡EN BUSCA DEL SÚPER LIDERATO!!

Jornada 5 Atlas F.C vs Puebla F.C TA2015

Fear of Cats: Ailurophobia Symptoms, Causes and Cures

By Julia Williams

It’s been said that when it comes to cats, people either love them or hate them. But there is actually a third feeling many people have for felines: they fear them. The clinical name for Fear of Cats is Ailurophobia. Although it’s difficult for most cat lovers to understand why anyone would be afraid of cats, Ailurophobia is very real, and can be a genuine problem for people who suffer from it.

A phobia is defined as an extreme, irrational and persistent fear of a particular object, activity or situation. Phobias are considered to be a type of anxiety disorder, wherein exposure to the feared stimulus can cause sweating, shaking, heart palpitations, loss of breath, dry mouth, the inability to think or speak clearly, and even a full blown panic attack. Ailurophobia then, is not simply a strong dislike of cats; it’s an intense feeling of fear at the sight of one – even if it’s just on TV.

Sometimes, just the thought of coming into contact with a cat is enough to get an Ailurophobics heart racing. They may understand intellectually that a cat poses no real danger to them, but it doesn’t change their involuntary reaction. Ailurophobics may fear physical contact with a cat, such as bites and scratches, or they might fear the perceived supernatural nature of cats. Ailurophobics often associate cats with black magic, witchcraft, sadism and evil–especially black cats, thanks to Halloween legends, superstitions and countless literary works.

What Causes Ailurophobia?

Like all fears and phobias, Ailurophobia is a protective mechanism created by the unconscious mind. Quite often, the phobic individual can’t even tell you exactly what they fear about cats, or where their fear might have originated. Sometimes all they know is that they’ve been afraid of cats for as long as they can remember.

They might have had a frightening experience with a cat as a baby or young child, but have forgotten it. Toddlers often aren’t taught how to properly pick up cats and may also prod, poke or pet them roughly. This could result in children getting scratched, bitten, and emotionally traumatized. Ailurophobia could also be caused by seeing someone else have a negative experience with a cat. Further, parents can sometimes transfer their own fear of cats on to their children.

Treatments for Ailurophobia

With professional help, the fear of cats can usually be overcome. Of course, for any phobia treatment plan to succeed, the person must first have a desire to overcome the fear. Ailurophobics often avoid seeking treatment because they’re embarrassed about fearing an animal that is generally regarded as cute, cuddly and harmless. It doesn’t help matters if they get teased after confessing their fear of cats to people who don’t understand phobias.

There are many different treatments for Ailurophobia. Like other phobias, Ailurophobia responds well to cognitive-behavior therapy (a form of psychotherapy which stipulates that the way we think about things affects how we feel emotionally). Cognitive therapy focuses on problem solving and present thinking rather than on past experiences, and often includes a desensitization component.

The Ailurophobic individual is taught to use relaxation and visualization techniques when experiencing anxiety about cats. Gradual exposure to cats is introduced in a systematic, structured way while the person concentrates on remaining calm. This might include looking at photos of cats, watching videos about cats, seeing a cat through a window, and eventually, being in the same room with a cat or kitten.

Hypnotherapy is another form of treatment for Ailurophobia. Hypnotherapy helps to reprogram the subconscious thoughts that may be linked to the phobia. When the subconscious is reprogrammed, the phobia symptoms are often minimized.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is the study of how individuals create their reality. From the NLP viewpoint, phobias are the result of faulty “programs” that a person has created. With NLP, these programs are revealed and “re-programmed” so that the phobia is minimized or eliminated. Energy Psychology is similar to acupuncture, except that no needles are used. Energy Psychology is emerging as a safe and effective and way to change phobic behaviors and thought patterns.

A JeeNode SMD on the left - minus its regulator - it didn't survive the construction :-(

On the right is a JeeLabs prototype board which I had originally intended to use purely to provide the FTDI connection and have sandwiched between the JeeNode and the JeeLabs flash programmer board (which is why the male headers on the JeeNode, and the female headers on the prototype board are a bit shorter than usual (clipped and filed).

However once I'd done that I discovered the regulator on the board was dead, so was going to have to put a full size replacement on the prototype board, which I did. Whilst I was at it I decided just to wire all the ISP functionality I required onto the board too.

The more eagle eyed (and geeky) amongst you might notice the lack of a reset capacitor on the FTDI connector... This is deliberate. I don't want to accidentally reprogram this board when it's supposed to be providing the protocol conversion interface so I can program something else.

So to reprogram this you either have to go through the cunning timing acrobatics of the original arduino board, or use the other ISP programmer (which is exactly how I loaded the AVR ISP software onto it).

I missed any screens of the Directorate meeting because FRAPS died on me >_>

David: I'm surprised this time. those I-950s you reclaimed didn't require a factory reset. all we needed to do was reprogram their factors of logic. now they know the Railroad to be deceptive. they should spread the word around here to others

Lizzy: the meeting, what you said.. you're.. dying?

David: it was more important to appoint you as Director. you didn't speak, even when we asked the most important questions

Lizzy: I was in shock! why didn't you tell me sooner?

David: I'm old, mother. the natural span of my life has run it's course. I can accept that

Lizzy: well, I can't! with everything I went through to see you again? when that Stormcloak courier told me you were missing in action back in Skyrim, I planned on going to Sovngarde!

David: they don't call it that here anymore. some call this notion of an afterlife "Heaven". but I can't be sure that exists. I only want my life to have meant something

Lizzy: it does exist, or you wouldn't. your father was Tsun, the shield Thane of Shor

David: yes, I remember the old lessons you taught me. they don't call him Shor anymore either

Lizzy: I'm.. going to need you to teach me what modern people believe

David: I'm a scientist. it has no bearing on my work here

Lizzy: do so anyway, that's an order!

David: *sigh* fine, mother

Brain Activity Hypnosis

-------------------------------

When most people think of hypnosis, they picture someone standing on stage, a dangling pocket watch in hand, but there is a #Science behind it. #Meditation and #hypnosis both trigger a relaxation response that is quantifiable and roundly considered healthful.

Hypnosis is basically a meditation with intent. A person is relaxes into an artificially induced altered state of consciousness. The state resembles sleep but the #mind becomes highly focused and responsive to suggestion. A #Hypnotherapist can use suggestions to explore repressed memories, instill a desire for #healthy habits and even reprogram themselves to be open to ideas. During hypnosis the brain's cognitive systems are still able to interpret the communication. The cognitive systems allow people to process information, categorize information, and create associations.

Researchers compared the physical "body signs" of #hypnotic subjects with unhypnotized people and found no significant physical change associated with the state of hypnosis. Hypnotized people's #heart #rates and #respiration slow down as it does in any relaxed state, not the hypnotic state itself.

It’s the year 2235: The Machines have taken our freedom… now it’s time to rebuild and reprogram

Vic's idea of living dangerously is jumping off the bottom step. He is a laid back guy that likes to reprogram remote controls, collect shoe horns and eat candy corn. The one thing that really excites him is when someone comments on his prized possession - a bronzed Twinky.

Some of my favorite items to use are old oil cans, aluminum measuring spoons, electrical meters, retro blenders, anodized cups, and pencil sharpeners.

I had kept the mind control device during the chaos of Mad Hatter's capture for future study. If I could be controlled to do things I wouldn't normally do by another person, why not reprogram the device to allow me to do these things myself? I used the device to mind control myself to be a criminal psychopath, unlocking my hidden potential for violence.

In order to alter my own mind, I experimented with Poison Ivy's flowers and Scarecrow's Fear toxin. I wanted an organic compound that would put my mind in an altered state to be both master and slave. From the Fashion Show at the Iceberg Lounge, I stole one of Penguin's finer coats to fit around the new costume I was constructing.

Since it was the Mad Hatter who had brought me out of my rabbit hole, I would become the March Hare. It was silly, but that silliness would offset the very real threat I presented to Gotham City.

When the American writer Nicholas Carr began investigating whether the Internet was ruining our minds, the subject of his new book, he restricted his access to the internet, took a break in the mail and hung up their accounts on Twitter and Facebook.

In his new book The Shallows: What the Internet Is Doing to Our Brains , he says the network is depriving us of the depth of reasoning ability.

Carr raised the controversial issue in 2008 that "Google was making us stupid" and decided to deepen their research on how the network affects our brain. His book examines the history of reading and science of how the use of different media affects our mind. Exploring how society has passed from oral tradition to the written word and then to the internet, he details how to reprogram our brains to adjust to new information sources. Read the Internet has fundamentally changed the way we use our brains.

The amount of text, photos, videos, music and links to other pages combined with incessant interruptions in the form of text messages, emails, Facebook updates and RSS feeds made our minds get used to catalog, archive and search information. Thus, we developed skills to make decisions quickly, especially visual. On the other hand, every time we read fewer books, essays and longer texts - that would help us to focus, concentration, introspection and contemplation. He says that we are becoming more librarians - are able to find information quickly and choose the best parts - than students who can analyze and interpret data.

The lack of focus obstructs our long-term memory and makes us more distracted. "We were not involved with the task of interpreting our brains," he says. He further claims that, for centuries, the books our brains protected from distractions, to focus our minds to a subject at a time.

But with devices like the Kindle and iPad becoming common, Carr predicts that the books will also change. "New ways of reading require new forms of writing."

If writers supply the chronic need of a distracted society, they inevitably will avoid complex arguments that require sustained attention and write concisely and to pieces, Carr predicts. He even suggests an exercise for those who feel that the internet has made them unable to concentrate, to slow down, turn off your web skills and practice of contemplation, introspection and reflection.

It is quite clear from what we know about brain science that if you do not exercise specific cognitive abilities, you end the losing. If you get distracted easily, not feel the same way you think if you watch

(Nicholas Carr)

Scientists say they juggle e-mail, phone and other sources of information changes the way people think. Our concentration is being hampered by heavy flow of information. This flow causes a primitive impulse to respond to immediate threats or opportunities. The stimulus causes excitement - the release of dopamine - addictive. In its absence, is boredom.

While many people say to do several things at the same time, increases productivity, research shows otherwise. The multitasking hinder the selection and concentration necessary to ignore irrelevant information. And even after the person turns off, the thought remains fragmented.

For Stanford students, the difficulty of focusing only on what interests conflict shows a brain that comes from our evolution. Part of the brain acts as a control tower, helping the person to focus on priorities. Primitive parts, such as those that process sight and sound, want it to pay attention to new information, bombarding the control tower. Lower brain functions are on top of larger goals, how to assemble a hut to warn of the danger of a lion nearby. In the modern world, the noise coming from the e-mail passes over the goal of writing a business plan or play ball with his son.

But other research shows that the brain also adapts. Internet users have more brain activity than non-users. They are gaining new circuits of neurons. This is not necessarily good, because it does not mean that we are becoming more intelligent. Our children are born knowing how to program the microwave and stir in the TV settings, but as they grow they will have less independence and critical thinking that other generations. TERRIBLY are accustomed to having everything ready, chewed, from microwave popcorn to the news they receive. We will be increasingly similar to the fat of the movie Wall-E, immersed in so much information that will talk with colleagues via MSN SIDE (and this is already happening in business!). With traditional social relationships being destroyed and replaced by a virtual who holds control of the means of traffic control virtual social relationships. And you think that governments do not know it already? Why is it that Obama had a meeting with all owners of "corridors of information" ?

The music is also a way of inducing changes in the brain. Helps keep the "cattle" as interesting for who controls the gears.

A study was conducted by scientists in a group of rats to study the effects of rock music. The group of rats was exposed to rock music became more disoriented progrssivamente tests, and finally became unable to complete the maze. When the brains of these mice were dissected, it was found that they were subjected to abnormal structural changes. The neurons in your brain (especially in the hippocampus, which is known to be important in learning and memory formation) grew uncontrollably in all directions without making connections with other neurons. Significant increases in messenger RNA, which is involved in memory formation, were also found. I found this news a bit overblown, and not the NAME of the researchers, to search more and found the following:

The student David Merrill repeated the experiment and reached similar conclusions , but could not go very far as the rats who listened to rock killed each other. The study of GM Schreckenberg HH and Bird (1988) shows that mice exposed to disharmonious music (ie, without harmony) developed brain and nerve damage "degradation of performance."

That is, the configuration of the brain will change SIM, especially if children are exposed to it (as we saw at the beginning of the documentary Zeitgeist: Moving Forward ). U.S. 20% of children suffer some type of mental disorder , while 5 million children and adolescents suffer from mental disorder GRAVE.

It is not my intention to blame the rock - because I like and think it's just ONE aspect of the problem - but rather, exposure to a particular type of sound. It changes depending on the country and social group, but we are bombarded by sound types whose resemblance between them is be stressful at percussive edge and away from any harmony. Increasingly our "muses" and "musos" pop sounds will promote more and more bizarre, far from the kind of music that captivated us in the beginning of their careers and getting very close to the sounds that are used to simulate drug (and I do not think it is mere coincidence). Call me a conspiracy theorist if you will, but do not forget to meditate on what they read, and watch with some detachment "information" that pop up around them.

This shot was taken or North Elm, circa 1996. We originally thought it was from south Bell Avenue, but I think the angle proves otherwise. The Texas Woman's University Clock Tower in the background dates from 1977-1978. It at one time had a working clock in the top. Its debut was unfortunate. No one in the neighborhood was used to having a large clock to "bing-bong-bong-bing" in the middle of the night. As a friend of mine put it (and he lived practically in the shadow of the Clock Tower), "Alec, all night long--bing-bong-bong-bing, and then the #%^%#@&*(&%%*)! thing just went crazy!" I think that after that unhappy night and morning it was understood that the University would reprogram the clock, or somebody was going to do it for them. As for me, I slept through the whole business. UPDATE: The clock has long since been replaced with a light up sign that says "TWU" on each face..
