I can't let you give me a B, Katz. I wanted to give this picture a cold, sterile tone, so I had to change the tint a bit, but I kept the individual colors for contrast.
Since I wanted to be ironic (read too busy stuffing his face), I decided to take my Thanksgiving picture after the feast, rather than before. All of the lights were incandescent, so the scene was very yellow. Nothin' a bit of editting couldn't fix.

O! how I would have raged had the lights flickr'd out. I had to not only tone them down, but I had to keep the vibrancy of the tree, which, according to Photoshop, is yellow. Ew.
So I really liked how this image made things look like steps going up from the left tot he right. When I adjusted the image so that the building would not be supper dark it ended up leaving the building in the back ground looking white a light bulb, bright and with out detail.
By masking only the white area i was able to lower the exposer in that area returning lots of detail and even a restaurants sign became visible again!
I decreased the highlights from the bright windows so that the concentration from the chess match was not lost.
