The church was built out of stone in 1887, and is now preserved. Iceland's most cherished [psalm] poet, Hallgrímur Pétursson, served here as a priest.
Inside the church is the tombstone of his daughter ... who was only 4 years old when she died (drowned in the sea).
The tombstone was found in 1964 and is thought to have been made by the poet himself. In 1945 it went through extensive repairs.

A lot of the local forestry being chopped down, but as far as i know every tree and more is replaced really cool to see the landscape covered
I'd never heard of the cinematic movement called Dogme95, but in the spirit of Flickr Friday's theme of Dogme95 this week, this image is the raw file converted straight to jpg without any processing or editing of any kind. I have followed the Dogme95 'rules' of no editing, no tripod, no props, no special effects, using whatever lighting is already available etc.

Taken through the double glazing, snowy sky behind & snow on the ground just lit up his feathers perfectly.
Special RAW development with DXO due to low contrast and very bright exposure on the back of the bird.
Now it seems to me that there are a little bit more contrasts and details visible on the swan's back.
Letná Park (in Czech Letenské sady) is a large park built on a plateau above steep embankments along the Vltava River in Prague, Czech Republic called Letná. Letná's elevation and location afford commanding views of the Prague Old Town (Staré Město).

this time I changed my main type of image, I saw this little (about 4mm) bug in a red flower in my backyard and tried to capture it. So I increased the ISO ratings to keep the hand held and just try !
I like the vibrant colours of the bug against the deep red flower
Really love this location cant wait to get back here this year...

It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of the significant role it played in the Portuguese maritime discoveries of the era of the Age of Discoveries. The tower was commissioned by King John II to be part of a defense system at the mouth of the Tagus river and a ceremonial gateway to Lisbon.

There were some flimsy clouds which should be presented and highlighted in the output image, too.
On the other hand the contrast difference between clouds and moon had been minimized due to better presentation of the surficial details of the full moon. Especially the rays of the Copernicus crater on the southern moon hemisphere are now visible more clearly.
Here FYI the former JPEG processing with PSE15 which laid more stress on the presentation of the clouds:
My Great Camera Club and FLICKR Mate Richard let me have a go with his 'All-Singing-All-Dancing' CANON 7D Digital + canon EF 85mm f1.8 lens WOW ! we set : Cloudy White Balance. Single Shot, ISO 400, 'AV' auto Exposure, f4 and I could understand all that ! so I took a few Street Snaps here in LockDown BRENTWOOD England . They were 'RAW' but I used FastStone Image Viewer to convert to JPegs -- see -- I'm LEARNING all this DIGITAL STUFF and one day I will be a 'Cool DUDE' !!
