Well my night was RUINED! Just as I was settling in for a long night of long exposure shooting THE DRAGONS ATTACKED!
Now I am not usually one to complain about distractions while I am shooting, but come on! DRAGONS!?
Oddly enough no one at the inner harbor was as scared as I was even my wife wasn't upset, she just kept mumbling something about "honey, take your medication"

For those not on the in, I got wrecked by a mattress on the way to work on Sunday the 8th. I came off the road onto the Starkweather Creek path and had no time to turn out of the way. I figured being a mattress, it would cushion my fall: Which most of it did except for my closed left fist hitting the pavement rather hard. After picking myself up off the mattress/pavement in the cool predawn hours, I got back on the bike and rode the remaining mile to work. It was only after working a 9 hour shift my girlfriend came to my rescue and picked me up along with the bike.
I then took a quick wash to rinse my wounds, it was off to urgent care. After the Covid-19 screening questions I was granted access into the clinic. After doing x-rays of my left hand, it was a confirmed non-displaced fracture of my pinky finger and additionally a fracture on my ring finger metacarpal. I was splinted and referred out to a hand surgeon for further evaluation on the breaks. To be continued...
(For those curious, the bike is okay and yes I know Wisconsin looks a hair rougher then I do)

Babs zei kun jij een ei laten zweven en laten druipen? Ja ik kan alles laten zweven zeg ik dan altijd. Nou deze heeft me toch echt anderhalve dag gekost. Stok achterin in een niet gekookt ei en laten hangen. Dat veel niet mee want er is haast geen evenwicht.
En dan de stok van achteren uiteraard niet laten zien. Jemig wat een gefriemel. Nooit meer doe ik dit. Maar ja, je Photoshopt of je Photoshopt niet!
