Thung Song (Thai: ทุ่งสง, pronounced [tʰûŋ sǒŋ]) is a district (amphoe) in the southwestern part of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, southern Thailand.

Well my night was RUINED! Just as I was settling in for a long night of long exposure shooting THE DRAGONS ATTACKED!
Now I am not usually one to complain about distractions while I am shooting, but come on! DRAGONS!?
Oddly enough no one at the inner harbor was as scared as I was even my wife wasn't upset, she just kept mumbling something about "honey, take your medication"

Granada, Spania. Alhambra. Inside the Nasrid palace in the Alhambra. Boy in the shadows peering down at a pidgeon in the foreground.
The Alhambra in Granada - often called the "8th wonder of the world", and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, of course. One of the most impressive and well known examples of Moorish architecture in Spain, and via the studies of European scholars like the architect Owen Jones a huge influense also on Western architecture and design from the 19th Century and onwards.
I'll probably be posting more photos from the Alhambra later, as its the kind of place where its hard to return without your memory card full of great pics, but I have to press on to catch up with my Project 365 pics now, and as the photos I'm posting now seem to be receiving little traffic anyway, I'm not very encouraged to post extra photos, like I've done for the previous photos from Spain.)

Als würde eine Art Magie in der Luft liegen
Heute hab ich meinen Kadaver extra um 5 aufgerafft und seit langem endlich den richtigen Moment erwischt Auch wenn mich Anfang der Woche noch Magen-Darm heimgesucht hat, klappt es jetzt Gott sei Dank wieder 💪
Dieser Moment war ein absoluter Traum, auch wenn es noch kalt ist um diese Zeit

For those not on the in, I got wrecked by a mattress on the way to work on Sunday the 8th. I came off the road onto the Starkweather Creek path and had no time to turn out of the way. I figured being a mattress, it would cushion my fall: Which most of it did except for my closed left fist hitting the pavement rather hard. After picking myself up off the mattress/pavement in the cool predawn hours, I got back on the bike and rode the remaining mile to work. It was only after working a 9 hour shift my girlfriend came to my rescue and picked me up along with the bike.
I then took a quick wash to rinse my wounds, it was off to urgent care. After the Covid-19 screening questions I was granted access into the clinic. After doing x-rays of my left hand, it was a confirmed non-displaced fracture of my pinky finger and additionally a fracture on my ring finger metacarpal. I was splinted and referred out to a hand surgeon for further evaluation on the breaks. To be continued...
(For those curious, the bike is okay and yes I know Wisconsin looks a hair rougher then I do)

Und manchmal zeigt es sich einfach wieder, dass die besten Bilder durch völligen Zufall entstehen 😅
Ich war gerade noch am Terrasse sauber machen, weil wir zu Abend mit der Familie gegrillt haben. War schon alles soweit fertig und ich war am Nachdrinnen gehen. Noch ein paar Sachen in die Spülmaschine geräumt und dachte mir: „Komm, den Sonnenschirm klappst du draußen auch noch ein“ 😅 Also nochmal raus und ZACK ! Da war er, der Ballon und der Sonnenuntergang in einem Lichtschauspiel und Kombination, die ich so wirklich noch nie gesehen habe 😅 Und vor allem auch so extrem tief, einfach unfassbar 😍
