I haven't been out travelling for a while and we decided to have a quick break before the baby gets born. One of our ever wanted escapes was to Menorca in Spain. A really small island in the Baleares Islands and with loads to explore and discover. The weather was quite nice and I managed to get this impressive capture from the Xoroi Cave (Cova d'en Xoroi). This spectacular scenery can be seen for just 10€ and it also includes a drink in the bar. The location is superb and it's a must see.
Thank you all for your appreciation.

This morning I have surprised Onessa with a gift, a handprinted cupboard for her sleeping room, she loves it but there is a problem she wants to take it to Holland which is not possible it's to big :)
A Sample of a shitload of raw shots , dozens taken quickly in succession just playing with windlight settings. Just some spur of the moment exercise at The Warehouse Event, I saw the awesome as ever Maru Kado Mannequin with the gimmick being sold and a blank wall behind it and there's where my brain is click click click.
Anyway it should be mentioned this is @ MOMOCHUU's spot at the event and indeed the Fresh Mini Tomatoes including HUD and the companion Tomato Lips (6 tones of lip gloss) with HUD are the items they are promoting and selling. It's a cute gimmick, well executed and rendered, very inexpensive, I'm sure they will do well with this accessory.
I sent them a notecard offering to buy both items not for myself, but as gifts, I asked if I could purchase the items as said gifts but delay delivery, allowing me to soak both items in arsenic over night and then return both items to them the next day, at which point they could send to the lucky recipient with the sender being identified as "Your Secret Admirer <3". I even offered ten times the asking prices!!
I haven't received a reply yet? Hmmm....
btw, you don't get it...
...Hey, give me some credit here! At least I didn't come in empty hand like some other times!

need to keep both my hands on the steering wheel right now so once again I will not be around for a period of time, the sphere of the life i'm passing at this moment is of a ultimate importance to me, full of soul filling ecstatic moments but still fragile so I have to keep all my attention focused on it to keep the momentum forever alive, so smile for me and cross your fingers.
The image depicts a dramatic scene of a wooden pier extending into a turbulent sea. It features massive waves crashing against the pier, creating sprays of water that shoot into the air. The atmosphere is intensified by dark, ominous clouds overhead, suggesting a powerful storm. Rendered in black and white, the contrast enhances the moodiness of the scene. The pier appears sturdy yet is dwarfed by the surrounding natural forces, highlighting the raw power and unpredictability of the ocean. Details like the ropes along the pier and water droplets on the wooden planks contribute to the texture and realism of the overall composition.
I have been asked by a few people about the colour image for the previous upload. I don't do this very often but this is the raw image, no photoshopping. As i said the light was very poor hence the decision to go mono.
Using a part of Union Pacific's "Jawbone" branch for some headroom before starting to push its train toward the former narrow gauge territory of the Owens Valley, Trona Railway road freight power stand in the daylighted part of the Searles Tunnel, waiting for its conductor to initiate the shove.
Six SDs were in charge of today's train, their 645 prime movers barely audible over the heavy wind, a common thing in this part of the desert.
A suspected arson fire was spotted in the early hours of February 22nd 1981 and burned for about nine days before SP crews could access the damaged bore. Around 700 feet of the tunnel's north end was to be daylighted in order to conserve the integrity of the once 4340-foot long tunnel. A key link for Kerr-McGee borax plant located in Trona, the tunnel was finally reopened for train service in July 1982 after costly repairs.
Union Pacific and Trona Railway still exchange cars at Searles.

(bron: Meertens instituut)
