With spring just around the corner which is reflected quite well here, LJ66EZP, one of 8 ever made, is seen near Douay Martyrs School working the afternoon school run to West Drayton via Hayes and Harlington.
With the XR demos going on again today in Westminster and Hyde Park Corner, this was quite a challenge to snap. LE21FTF is seen at Westminster Bridge with LED displays on the first occurrence to operate the 148. These have been ordered for the new tender changes in West London and will transfer when one or more of these routes are transferred to RATP.
LJ16EVF is seen at Trafalgar Square in this months rare cold snap, bringing occasional snow showers like seen here. Facelift Gemini 3s (or frogs!) have only been used a few times on this route.
LC71KUG is seen pulling into Northwick Park Hospital this afternoon working the H9 clockwise circular.
With the SPs now running on limited time thanks to electrification, here is now withdrawn YT59PBY which was captured at Kingston, Wood Street back in August 2020.
VH45101 BD13OHU seen at Kensington Olympia working on route 28 towards Wandsworth, Southside Shopping Centre.
BME27018 LC71KUP seen at Greenford, Westway Cross Retail Park having worked on route 395 from Harrow Bus Station.
Change in schedule allowed me to leave around 3 hours early so first thing I did was heading to Greenford, to get this working of BME27018 LC71KUP on the 395.
It and the others off the H9/H10 and 398 had recently making a regular appearance on this route.
Just barely had enough time to get to this spot here at Westway Cross Retail Park, as it was at the penultimate stop just after I exited out of the station.
A504 SK52USH working short journey on Air Decker route A4 at Keynsham shortly before ending its trip from Bath Spa, City Centre.
Former London United / Transdev VA309 had spend its time with Bath Bus Company along with few other VAs allocated to this airport route connecting Bath and Bristol Airport, mainly for passengers catching a flight to/from there.
Although new/existing buses such as the ex-London Volvo B9TL MCV demonstrator are also working the route, these ALXs haven't been withdrawn but they don't see much work as it used to.
The Airport route is still in its revised timetable as hourly as opposed to every 30 minutes but A504 was working as a duplicate bus in peak periods as result of rising passenger numbers on the route as easing restrictions continues.
ADH45047 YX62FTF seen at Putney Bridge working on route 220 towards Willesden Junction.
It's a quiet morning before the rush hour so shots like these are possible albeit in the northbound direction. Though the other side in the afternoon is near impossible as nowadays is busy as ever!
The Star & Garter can be seen in the background of the shot.
ADE40405 YX12FNL seen at Holiday Inn Brent Cross Shopping Centre working on route 142 towards Watford Junction.
An SEe went out on the 232 that evening so in the case if it was to comeback, I would wait here for the working.
To the unfortunate, it got subbed off at the Turnpike Lane end of route.
Picked up a few pics from here instead, though quite a challenge as most buses go the offside which isn't my favour.
ADH45295 YX68UOP seen at Edgware Station as it finishes its journey from Charing Cross, Trafalgar Square on route N5.
Over the weekend, route N5 saw transfer from Edgware (BT) to Harrow (SO). The transfer results the route's change of allocation of VHs to ADHs.

LF69UXJ on its first day with RATP, previously being on the 43 with Metroline and before that with CTplus on the 20 and 26, terminating at Cromwell Road Bus Station in Kingston. Also a 285 just slightly out of shot with Abellio.

A First Bus (for a second time!)
After First Bus completed the takeover of RATPdev London, a number of vehicles from First's original operation in the capital were reacquired by the company in an ironic turn.
One such vehicle is SN12 AUA, new to First Centrewest in 2012 for route 23 between Liverpool Street and Westbourne Park. In this fleet, she was numbered DNH39131 and this number would be retained by Tower Transit after the takeover of part of First's operations.
In 2021, RATP Dev and Kelsian (owners of Tower Transit) merged to form RATP Dev Transit London, reducing the presence of Tower Transit's branding. DNH39131 was renumbered to her present number you see here. In September 2023, RATP would take full control of this company only to announce that they would sell the company in December 2024 to FirstGroup.
The sale was completed in February 2025 and as a result, First reacquired this bus along with a few others. Up until this point, RATP had been utilising it on route 414 however after that route was withdrawn the bus was transfered to route 31 which now seems to be the standard allocation.
I find it ironic that TfL would accept a tender to replace more recent B5LHs from Metroline with these 13 year old E400Hs though I imagine they are simply being used as a stopgap until new electric vehicles arrive.
And yes, that is a real internet cafe you see there...
DLE30044 YX17NHJ seen at Ravenscourt Park working on route 110 towards Hammersmith Bus Station.
The 110 has became a new local since its rerouting back in December 2020 when it replaced the 391. No sun shot was possible in this section at that time until recently.
