Nasce dal monte Croce di Pruno (m 1041) col nome di fiume di Pruno. Viene ingrossato dalle acque scendenti dal monte Faiatella (m. 1410), dal monte Pietra Alta (m 1324), dai monti di Vallivona (m 1452). Da Rofrano ad Alfano prende il nome di fiume Faraone. Sfocia nel mare Tirreno presso Capo Palinuro e segna il confine tra il comune di Centola con quello di Camerota.
Born from Mount Cross of Pruno (m 1041) with the name of river Pruno. It is enlarged by the waters scendenti from Mount Faiatella (m. 1410), from Mount
Pietra Alta (m 1324), from the mountains of Vallivona (1,452 m). From Rofrano to Alfano is called Faraone river. It places in the Tyrrhenian Sea at Cape Palinuro and marks the boundary between the town of Centola with that of Camerota.

This is the entrance to Rock City! I knew I was going to love this place from the moment I stepped in. It was so beautiful and so fairytale'esq. My kinda place for sure! I could have spent hours out here!
