The anti-rape condom, designed to protect women from HIV infection via rape. It leaves barbs in the rapists penis that need medical assistance to remove.
Criticized as impractical on it's release, it nonetheless highlighted imbalances of who endures the consequences of rape and assumptions of women as passive because vagina's aren't considered weapons in the way the penis sometimes is. Not quite Vagina Dentata, but you get the idea.
