On Friday, September 14th, Mayor Vincent Gray joined University of DC President Dr. Allen Sessoms as the University hosted a program titled “Men Can Stop Rape”, sponsored by the organization U-Ask. The purpose of the event was to launch a smart phone application that can alert police, campus security, health and other services in the event of rape or other forms of violence.
