Following conversations about my PotD (april 13th) here are the shots taken the previous day (when I went for the croquet panorama - my PotD project is a journal for me as well). I didn't delete these as I want to use them for something else.

Don't need to shout it in the title I suppose, as it's all over the place this year. The challenge is to get something attractive with an interesting composition. I hope I have achieved that in this one. I'm sure you lot out there will let me know :o))

AKA: Act of Vengeance
Linda gets raped by a man in a hockey mask. She finds that a few other women have had the same treatment. Together they form a squad that starts looking for the man and also changes the mind of would-be rapists.
i was adding tags now and instead of adding 'measuring tape' i mistakely wrote 'measuring rape'. it made me wonder before deleting the tag. rape is measured!? before, during and later! it's measured. why? and if one has to measure it, what is the means? anything which goes against own conscience and collective conscience of humanity is rape. it is performed at 'ghat' (invisible and subtle autopilot as well as known thoughts) level. It happens in different forms at 'ghat' level and it first occurs inside.
Pindeshu Brahmandeshu. (यथा पिंडे तथा ब्रह्मांडे ): When land, air/breeze, water, light, space becomes 'unstable' (अस्थिर) then we find dangerous outcomes in world like recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan. But when our minds becomes अस्थिर (unstable) in varying degrees, we see the same dangerous outcomes (war, jihad, rape, child sexual abuse, materialism, pornography, abortion, illicit relations, AIDS and much more..and it exceeds natural disasters. The real terrorists thus live inside. We are aware of outside terrorism and also we fight for our rights, but till the core (inside) becomes stable (स्थिर), one daily performs rape and also measures rape and 'escapes'.
Make a change inside, as our outside is connected to inside. It's eternal principle of Vedas. (behavior of external objects over mortal body and universe are alike and our behavior which springs from inside affects the outside and universe). Problem and root of most problems is not really the 'poverty' outside but 'poverty of thoughts.'
Pramukh Swami Maharaj says: "The root of all bliss is God and to forget God is the root of all problems."
PS: even smallest of margin matters! this was my original title of image for a different context of which is explained in first tag and meant for self learning and reflection.

Oilseed Rape is back in the fields i am pleased to report :-) nice splash of yellow to add to the countryside.
Nåked Broom-råpe (Orobanche uniflora). The flowers of ths root parasite are most often purple but occasionally cream to white in color. Bridalveil Falls area. Yosemite National Park. Mariposa Co., Calif.
(Please forgive the unusual spelling, contrived to circumvent the search engines. I've grown weary of attention directed toward this species and these photos by all the adolescent internet morons doing searches on "nåked" and/or "råpe.")
