I did this illustration for Japanese band called cacoy for rant magazine. It's my 1st published work in London which I really looking forward to see in a real page :)
I just stuck this on my car, actually, but it could have easily gone onto my refrigerator.
A Democracy is NOT when you sell your sociolpolitical soul to the highest bidder - and American government has done just that. American government is commandeered by corporations. The Democrats and Republicans alike have daily orgies with the likes of Big Oil and all the innumerable sociopathic companies who are crassly compelled by rapacious greed at the tragic expense of social liberty and justice.
We have a corporatocracy, a plutocracy, and a quasi-fascist regime in America. One of fascism's tenets is subjugation to corporations.
If you don't believe it, then you are not paying attention, and it would behoove you to delve more deeply into what our government is
REALLY doing in YOUR name.
The movie The Corporation is an excellent starting place for dispelling benightedness about the sinister truth of the American system.
2006 is a shitty year for me. so far i have done nothing than wasting my days. i want to be productive like in 2005, or be sentimental like in 2004, or be romantic like in 2003, or be upbeat like in 2002. but all things are crap in 2006. i have a hope in the coming winter. things happen in the winter.
LOVE the cover art on this one. Decent book, but I think chuck is stretching the novel format in uncomfortable ways these days. Also, I get the feeling that his publisher begged for a fight club-esque book.

I have to confess, I am missing my picture a day project. I enjoyed it, but I was also glad it was over. It was a real effort some days and I wasn't always happy with the pictures I posted. I thought I'd do better, post only good pictures, not be stressed about it, with only two picture a week projects. Oddly, I seem to have lost focus (photography pun!). No real answer today, just pondering.
