The All-New Range Rover Evoque made its Chinese debut at the Shanghai Auto Show when it is unveiled by Land Rover Global Brand Director, John Edwards. Market pricing will be announced for both coupe and five-door body styles, along with an extensive range of personalisation options.
"China is Land Rover's fastest growing market with Range Rover in particular seeing positive growth – up 59% YOY. The Range Rover Evoque is set to be equally in demand, with over 1000 Chinese customers placing pre-orders – despite not having seen the car in the metal and before official pricing has been announced," commented Edwards.

De nieuwe P.C. Hoofttractor is gearriveerd. Dit is de First Edition van de eerste SUV uit het Britse Crewe: de Bentayga. Chique hoor, maar een schoonheid is het zeker niet. Al begint het design te wennen. Van de First Edition worden/zijn 608 exemplaren gebouwd. Wat dat moet kosten? Bijna drie (3!) ton. Oké, je krijgt er ook een Breitling horloge bij, maar voor dat geld koop ik een mooi wagenpark van leuke occasions.

A new SUV has arrived in the P.C. Hooftstraat. This is the First Edition of the first SUV from the British Crewe: the Bentayga. Chic, but certainly not a beauty. Although the design is already starting to get used to. There are/were 608 units built of the First Edition. What are the costs? Nearly three (3!) hundred thousand euros, but for that money I'll buy a fleet of beautiful used cars.

I've been waiting for ages to catch up with this one and during a visit to Broadgreen Hospital (Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital NHS Foundation Trust), I found it parked up in the grounds, all on its own and unobscured.
One of a kind and undoubtedly my favourite ambulance / paramedic vehicle, bar none!

The all-new Range Rover Evoque made quite a splash at a star studded, exclusive night of luxury, technology and design, held in New York to celebrate the vehicle’s launch to the city. The event, which took place at the Highline Stages in New York’s Meatpacking District, gave guests the first opportunity to interact with the Range Rover Evoque, which will be available to consumers this fall.
Tennis queen Serena Williams joined Range Rover’s New York “City Shapers,” a group of leading influencers from fashion, design, music and film, including Georgina Chapman, Darrelle Revis, Josh Rubin, Piers Fawkes and Bevy Smith. The celebrities shared details of the Evoque models they have personalized and will drive from this fall.
U.K. collectors FINALLY got the chance to buy this new recolour of the Matchbox 2015 Range Rover Evoque from the Easter break onwards when it seemed every ASDA store got a shipment at exactly the same time! It didn't take too long before I'd managed to get several, in fact far more than the original Burnt Orange version which I actually prefer! The casting itself still looks great, it features the same high levels of intricate detailing and a well sculptured body but somehow this metallic black finish overwhelms it a little. Often criticised for its wrongly perceived lack of interior and its one piece upper half this is actually a very smart modern Matchbox of an equally smart British success story. Mint and boxed.

Strangely it took me a few months to actually find any Matchbox Land-Rover series singles at ASDA as most of my nearest stores only sold the five vehicle sets. All six castings were winners but I can't deny that one of my favourites was this Range Rover Evoque in this unique non mainline metallic bronze colour which looks just as eye catching as the Burnt Orange debut version. Sleek in its appearance with cool darkened wheels, plenty of fabulous detailing especially badging and as i've now discovered does indeed have an interior hidden underneath that impossibly dark coloured glazing! Mint and boxed.

Range Rover Evoque models in this scale and at this end of the market are getting increasingly more common yet strangely the best selling five door version has hardly had a look in! Thankfully Top Mark have filled that gap with this excellent little model which impresses greatly with its decent quality and superb detailing as you'd expect from its licensed status. A deep and glossy metallic finish and accurate full length glass roof all add to a Matchbox competing model which really needs to be made available Worldwide. Bought directly from China. Mint and boxed.
Het is lente en dat is te merken. De exoten komen de garages weer uit en de dakjes gaan open. En omdat het zo'n lekker weer was die dag ben ik ook maar op de fiets naar Amsterdam gegaan. In A'dam-Zuid stond deze fantastische DBS Volante te schitteren, die een leuke Britse combo maakt met de Evoque aan de overkant. Heerlijkheid!
Finally, it's spring! The exotics come out their garages. Roof down and drive, right? And because it was such nice weather, I decided to cycle to Amsterdam. In Amsterdam-South was this fantastic DBS Volante with his roof down. He is also part of the British combo together with the Evoque from England. Magnificent!
