Day 283
^^^ Hahaha, as if that's still a thing. I'm not sure what's going on with this project, I haven't really been shooting anything because I don't want to fall back into the trap of uploading a random photo that means nothing to me just to make the deadline. I'd rather take three years to finish this with photos I am proud of than upload something rushed that I will inevitably end up loathing.
That being said, Emilie and I went back to one of my favourite abandoned houses on Monday! We were in the master bedroom and we climbed out one of the windows onto the roof, where I found a lovely pile of broken glass. Naturally I brought some in with me and took a selfie with it. This is yet another photo of me feeling disconnected and lost. That is completely not what it was supposed to mean but some stuff happened in photoshopland and I kind of just went with it.

This silhouette of a desert mountain looks like the line graph of a random walk. Holga TLR 120 with Kodak film.
I chose this dress at random today, just looked through my tightly packed wardrobe and thought, yes, that one, age since I wore that. It's lovely to be in, of course.
Waves break randomly on Praia do Norte ("Northern Beach"), just north of Nazaré.
This location is known, since immemorial times, for it's rough seas, particularly in the winter. "Recently" (regarding the Human occupation of this region), an undersea canyon has been discovered which explains the big waves that occour here - ocean waves reach the shoreline with virtualy no energy loss. Worldwide attention was brought after Mr. Garrett McNamara, in 2013, caught a 30 m wave and set a new World Reccord for the biggest wave ever surfed.
A random photo of the A77ii body... I couldn't resist to take it while learning about it's features.... ^^
26:52 - Use a Random Point Generator to pick the exact location where you make a photograph.
I absolutely loved this idea. I think this is the start of a new trend. Photo-geocaching! As a group we used geomidpoint.com/random and had the best adventures finding our locations to shoot. Chris, Charlotte and I went a bit old school to find our spots, and of course, I still ended up in the middle of a waterfall! Thankfully, this lovely branch was extending out over the water, providing me with a randomly pointy random point! :)
A random image I really liked from the shoot I had during the day, we took some stunning shots and this one was one of the last shots after 3 hours of shooting...
