The random dance is a perennial favorite at MX. Kids are randomly paired with another student, and after an ice cream social and some board games, they dress "randomly" for the dance itself.

A random lazy pic. It was drizziling when I visited this place Kodyadka near Moodabidri, west of Karnataka. While trying to protect camera from rain, got this (stupid) idea :p
A few years ago I rounded up all my unused wall wart power supplies and I carefully wrapped them up, ensuring the plug end was looped under the wrapped wire so it could not possibly escape, even in the event of a global nuclear holocaust. I even labeled them so I would know which electronic item went with each power supply, as far as I was able to identify them. Naturally there are always more wall warts than there are devices, but I thought it prudent to save them anyway. I placed them individually and lovingly int oa drawer, side by side, with two millimetres of space between each one.
This week, upon clearing out what we doctors call 'a load of old shite', I opened the drawer full of wall warts.
And this is what came out. A long string of permanently fused-together wall warts, power cables, phone leads, USB cables, and one European spec SCART lead, something which has never been seen in the USA in the entire course of human history.
Naturally all the labels were missing, stuck together in a vast cluster.
Impressive.
