This face is anything but random to me. I'm going to get all mushy and squishy on Flickr but you know you and what you mean to me.

This little tulip bulb somehow found itself in a pot of daffodils. Lucky for me as the daffodils have now gone over but the little tulip is shining brightly :)
Many thanks for all the lovely comments and faves and stay safe and well everyone.
I couldn't resist!

One of my dream driftwood beach constructions. It's such fun to search the strand line for inspiration, and see what can evolve. It would be great to actually sleep on these beds, but within a few hours would end up very wet. Random fearless is by Damien Jurado, and was first up on my playlist today, and this is suitably random.
It has been a rather gloomy day today and so I just took this random photo of a turtle which lives in my bathroom among some shells I collected in Spain and Italy during summer holidays when I was a child. Usually I'm attracted by more colourful photo subjects but somehow I felt like muted colours today. :)
This installation is called violenza casuale (literally "random violence"), in which a pile of wooden beams is being crushed to splinters by a hydraulic machine (that looks like an oversized cockroach).
