A fun afternoon out with fellow lensman, Paul. Visited a few places and made photographic notes. This was my favorite image that I took of Walesby Church.

This shoot was something a little different for me. I'm accustomed to capturing nature scenes and urban decay, but don't have much experience with human subjects. Many thanks to Jacob who joined me on this adventure and proved categorically photogenic.
I spend more time behind the camera than in front of it, but here I am the subject. Photo credit to Jacob.

A group of ramblers enjoying Murlough National Nature Reserve, a fragile 6000 year old sand dune system owned by the National Trust and managed as Ireland’s first Nature Reserve since 1967. It is a superb first class area for walking and bird watching due to its location at the edge of Dundrum Bay and the spectacular Mourne Mountains.

The first model in the postwar Rambler line was the convertible, because Nash knew they couldn't sell them cheap so they had to make them appear to be upscale. When they decided to build the even smaller Metropolitan it would have to be built in Europe because it just cost too much to make small cars in North America. Rambler did pretty well and we still see a lot of these at car shows.
