Possibly one of the ugliest views in central Stockholm? Not the usual view over the City Hall huh! I loved the great light and air after the rainfall though.
A slightly tenuous 'Sight and Sound' link but there are so many flowers here that I'm sure they would stop each other bending in the rain. This, of course, leads to "Flowers Never Bend With The Rainfall" by Simon & Garfunkel :-)

A snapshot from Saturday with the iPhone camera in a beautiful park in Warsaw. The weather was awesome. At first, heavy winds and massive rainfall, leaves flying all over the place. Really nice. All of a sudden it stopped raining and the sun started breaking through the clouds.
Seattle has seen a lot of rains recently which reminds me of this image I took back in 2021. The dark and dense lines are the rainfalls in the distance and It seems I was right on the edge of the rain cloud. This was a very interesting scene to capture.
First of all i m going to open by saying, no i'm not going to turn into another flickr flower lover haha, however yesterday while visiting the folks my mother asked me to take some pictures of the flowers in her Garden, We had a little sun shower and then the sun was really lighting up the rain on the flowers and it did indeed look pretty fabulous, anyhoo, here it is hope you all enjoy.

Weeks of low rainfall meant that this was the lowest I had ever seen Loch Eck and normally mainly the wee tree would be all that could be seen. I wanted to wade out to it (usually I kayak over to it!) as there is a submerged causeway there, but the water was still too high and I didn't have my wellington boots with me. I resolved to go out there the next day but a night of heavy rain meant that it was no longer possible. It took a while to edit out all the rainspots from this shot :)
We were run right over by this fast moving shelf cloud on May 24th, 2018 outside WaKeeney, Kansas on a day where I thought I wouldn't even get to use my camera as storms kept dying out early. I have a few shots of it spitting out CGs that I'll likely post in the near future as well.

Normally there is no waterfall at this location until a fairly decent rainfall.

Geology and climate are important contributing to the successful establishment of plants within the park. Deep deposits of volcanic ash combined with even rainfall, mild winters and warm summer temperatures are conducive to plant growth for a range of species from around the world. With this variety of plant types Pukekura is unique in offering a diverse range of landscapes from dense remnant tawa/mahoe/pukatea forest to broad lawns with annual bedding displays and themed garden plantings.

In dry places, such as parts of Africa, India, and the Middle East, rain is greeted with euphoria. (In Botswana, the Setswana word for rain, "pula," is used as the name of the national currency, in recognition of the economic importance of rain in this desert country.)...

My brother Doug, my flickr contact Grant and I visited northeast Ohio on a five-day trip in mid-June, 2015. We stayed two nights in Canal Fulton at the Fulton House on Pleasant Hill B & B. Like so much of this trip, we arrived in a rainfall, which gave a misty feel to the inn's garden. Fulton House on Pleasant Hill

We had heavy rainfall here for several weeks meanwhile. Great floods, there was water in many people's homes.
Especially the city of Passau was heavily hit:

Now the rain seems to stop, sun takes over. But there is a lot of cleanup to do.
