I was trying to take a photo of a blade of grass decorated with frozen raindrops, but not getting what I wanted, when one of the frozen droplets fell off---so I placed that on a frost-covered bench and photographed that instead. I think this could have been sharper, or more dof (not sure), but I do like the air bubbles in the droplet, and the mini droplets on top of it. (Not sure why, but it puts me in mind of a pufferfish :D)

Raindrops on a bulrush leaf

Thanks for your visit and comments I appreciate that very much.

Sweet Autumn Clematis

We're receiving some welcome rainfall in the Cowichan Valley. This will help the front line fire fighters in our province's forests. Hoping for more rain elsewhere in BC as well.

Cleaning out some of my older catalogs, I noticed this image of raindrops on a plastic tarp. Note the magnification of the tarp's plastic squares under the more convex shaped raindrops.

And I guess it would also be one of my favourite cliché shots too.

The Transvaal daisies, or gerbera are so lovely, they are big and bright - they are so irresistible! And they hold raindrops so perfectly too. I just love to shoot them.

Taken in the garden yesterday which was a sunny and (mostly) rainy day.

Rain, nothing but rain for days now. No end in sight.

It is raining here today so no chance to go out and take photos so have been looking in my archives and found this shot of raindrops on a leaf - thought it was appropriate for a rainy day! - Happy Textural Tuesday!
