I had ticketino's to the TeamLab Borderless exhibition: flic.kr/p/2hMicwh.
I went to the location earlier that day but it was crowded AF. Okay, I'll come back later! Lets first hang back and enjoy the view on Tokyo Bay, Minato and the Reinbō Burijji.
There's no question in my mind about it.
Saw it coming home from cutting grass at work one afternoon, and it was BRIGHT, fiercely so. This is a completely unretouched photo. You can see how much it's brightness forced the camera to speed up the aperture by how dark the cotton field below it is at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. This thing positively RADIATED. And it didn't have a full bow, no curve on the other side, just that sharp, gleaming radiant spear.
Had I seen a fierce, buxom blond Valkyrie astride a huge Percheron riding back up that thing into Valhalla, bearing across her pale-skinned thighs a slain Norseman fresh from the field of glory I'd have not been the least surprised.

Got out with -先生 during latest visit. It is easy to see how these structures can capture eyes - especially when those eyes are behind an ultra-wide angle or fisheye lens.
I do plan to leave this in my hunts... short summer nights may allow me to capture this during the morning blue hour.

The Rainbow Bridge was built near the site of the earlier Honeymoon Bridge, which collapsed on January 27, 1938, due to an ice jam in the river. A joint Canadian and American commission had been considering a new bridge to replace it, and the collapse added urgency to the project. Engraved text on the bridge includes a biblical reference to rainbows. A design by architect Richard (Su Min) Lee was chosen (and used again for the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) downriver). The bridge's Rainbow Tower and Canadian plaza are the work of Canadian architect William Lyon Somerville. King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, during their visit to Niagara Falls as part of the 1939 royal tour of Canada, dedicated the site of the Rainbow Bridge; a monument was erected to commemorate the occasion. Construction began in May 1940. The bridge officially opened on November 1, 1941. The origin of the bridge's name is unknown, with one possible source being T. B. McQuesten, then chairman of the Niagara Parks Commission. An engraving on the Canadian side of the bridge includes a biblical quote from the Book of Genesis which references a "bow in the clouds." Regardless of its origin, the NRBC used the name as early as March 1939
Rainbow Bridge, completed on 26 Aug 1993, this gateway to Odaiba (お台場) is among the most beautiful modern bridges in Japan. Decorated with 444 lights, which change according to the seasons.
Rainbow Bridge National Monument is administered by Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, southern Utah, United States. Rainbow Bridge is often described as the world's highest natural bridge. The span of Rainbow Bridge was reported in 1974 by the Bureau of Reclamation to be 275 feet (84 m), but a laser measurement in 2007 has resulted in a span of 234 feet (71 m).[citation needed] At the top it is 42 feet (13 m) thick and 33 feet (10 m) wide.
Tonight at 9:30 pm Hershey passed away in our arms, he has crossed the Rainbow Bridge to be with Max and Milo. We are all deeply saddened by the loss of a great dog and my best friend.

The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

6 years ago today our buddy and first cat went to the Rainbow Bridge after he could no longer fight his illness. His ashes rest in an urn fit for a Pharaoh. We miss you!
