一度は行ってみたい場所でした。
この日は天気予報で風がないと言っていたので、
期待していました。
夕方にはカモメが水浴びをしていたから
水面は波立っていました。
カモメが寝静まると、鏡のような映り込みに
至福の時を過ごしました。
It was the place that had been hoped to go.
The weather forecast for this day there is no wind.
In the evening the water had been choppy.
Seagulls because had a bathing.
When the seagulls fall asleep, on reflection, such as a mirror, I had a time of bliss.
It's very challenging to get a sharp image so please enjoy the night atmosphere from the colourful waterfront lights at Rainbow Bridge Tokyo

The theme for this week is to show our dear kitties that have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. This is my beloved LBC, little black cat, aka Shadow. There were so many pictures to choose from!!
Before the Interstate system was built, Highway 40 over Donner Pass was the route from Sacramento to Reno. It still provides access to ski areas, along with a marvelous view of the Rainbow Bridge, Donner Lake, and the eastern edge of the Sierra Nevada.

太陽に照らされて水面が銀色に輝きました。
お日様の向きが変われば橋の下から銀色の水面がこちらに伸びると考えましたが、角度の違いからか、この後銀色の輝きは色褪せてしまいました。
Water surface shone in silver is sunlit.
Once the orientation of the sun changes, the water from the bottom of the silver bridge I thought and extend to here. However, whether the difference in the angle, silvery shine after this it has faded.
Cinema (1993-2013) and Flashlight (1993-2011). Considering the wintertime date the picture was taken, this was in one of the duo's favorite places, in the bedroom hallway near the wall furnace (mere inches from Cinema's left ear).
This was one of a few small batches of pictures taken with the EOS 7D handheld at ISO 3200 in the short span of time from the day I first started using the camera to the day Flashlight crossed that Bridge that following February, the 23rd. The graininess was considerable by today's standards; under these circumstances, it will have to do.
Monica (15 years old) crossed the Rainbow Bridge this morning at home. We don't know the cause of her death.
She was a great companion and loved being in my arms while I walked the dogs. I miss her a lot :-(

あと数時間で新年です。
今年撮った写真で今UPLOADしないと気持ちがすっきりしない写真を数枚選びました。
先ずは晴海客船ターミナルから撮ったレインボーブリッジです。
撮影直後は上下左右の対象図形がつまらないと思い掲載しませんでした。
今見ると思いのほか反射が綺麗なので選びました。
The New Year is just a few hours away.
I have selected some of the photos I took this year that I wouldn't feel refreshed without uploading now.
First of all, it is a photograph of Rainbow Bridge taken from Harumi Passenger Terminal.
Immediately after shooting I did not post because I thought that the same figure was the same for the top, bottom, left and right.
Looking at it now, I chose it because the reflection was beautiful.
Medley Footbridge is a pedestrian bridge across the River Thames near the village of Binsey in Oxford, England. It is also known as Rainbow Bridge, The bridge joins the west bank of the river to Fiddler's Island in the stream.
The bridge bears a plaque with a misspelling which apparently gave rise to a third name, the 'Subscription Bridge':
This bridge was erected by public subscription through the exertion and during the shrievalty of Henry Grant Esquire. A.D. 1865.
A second plaque, using the name Rainbow Bridge, records its restoration in 1997.
I could see that orange glow come through the curtains of our room that first morning. I had to get up and take the shot. When I got home there were some window reflections on the image but I still wanted to keep it. Then Lightroom came up with a new fix for reflection removal and it worked like a charm. The view of Niagara Falls from our room on the Canadian side.

Later in the afternoon this day we took a cruise on the Himiko from Asakusa to Odaiba in Tokyo. While it is an ultramodern vessel, the windows have a green tint and photos taken from inside went straight to the recycle bin. I've taken a few cruises in my time, this one does not rate among the top 100, but I loved the shape and design of the vessel.
The panoramic view was combined with 5 shots by Photoshop.

... machten Luis und Bärbel Bekanntschaft mit unserer Daisy, die sie nur von Erzählungen und Fotos kannten. Die drei haben sich auf Anhieb sehr gut verstanden.💖 Daisy hat uns im Alter von 8 Jahren leider viel zu früh verlassen...

... Luis and Bärbel got to know our Daisy, whom they only knew from stories and photos. The three got on very well straight away.💖 Daisy unfortunately left us much too early at the age of 8 ...
