One last picture from Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day, and it's That Bridge again... through some railings this time.

 

I say last, but there is another roll of film waiting to go for the C-41 treatment (chromogenic B&W) but it was very loosly rolled on the takeup spool and will surely be very badly fogged by light leaking in. The chances aren't good. (Update: the results were mixed; see my pinhole roll 1 tag.)

These railings were erected to protect a tree at the top of Elbury Hill, but unfortunately the tree is long gone. Its companion suffered the same fate.

This is a detail of the railing. Originally I wanted to use per-manufactured railing, but it costs way too much! So, my designer (Dasha Treinis) came up with this coolest railing, using metal parts, usually sold for shelving construction. Very clever!

On the flip side (literally and figuratively), I actually touched the rubbery substance that was once the railing of the escalator. I was surprised at how stiff they were.

In our village are lots of interesting old houses. These railings just ask to be photographed.
