Waxed Cotton Pad, will fit a Blackburn rack, Yuba rack, etc. I had it custom made to replace a saddle zip-tied on my back rack. My son should be more comfortable and the bike will definitely be more classy. Carsick was great to work with, I'll get more pics once I have this in hand.
This rack was made in a unique way in that the model was made by a different person than the final fabricator.
As I made the model, I chose cheap light alloy which I could form to any shape easily to get the look and function I wanted.
First, a bracket for either side was made and bolted on to the frame.
The bike racks in Sandnes were nice and sheltered. They also had a "city bike" program, where they provided bikes at these shelters for people to use for free within a defined part of the city. I saw a few in use, but didn't see any available. The baskets on these bikes are typical.

These pics are from a 650B conversion that I did a few years back. There's a new thread on the Classic Rendezvous list server about these Mel Pinto tandems. Yes, they were actually made by Follis, and the geometry is correct for 650B wheel. They were fitted with 27" wheels for the US market.
I wanted to post this album to the thread, but I realized that I hadn't documented the building of the racks.

I found myself in the Nordstrom Rack browsing through the jackets, and I saw this hanging there. I looked, It said "Versace". I looked at the price. I tried it on. Random strangers complimented me. It was only 30% of the original price which makes it affordable if not exactly cheap. I love it, but I'm not sure I'm gonna keep it. But I want to. If I do, I'm gonna wear the thing. I mean, look at the lining! It's crazy in a good way.
