Who is Gary Creek, Wiki, Birthday
The nationwide manhunt for indicted Baltimore gang leader Gary Creek is over. The U.S. Marshall's Service confirms that Creek killed himself during a standoff in a suburb of Atlanta.
Law enforcement officials say a gunman took 3 hostages and barricaded himself inside an apartment in Sandy Springs, just north of Atlanta.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says Gary Creek was supposed to turn himself in and have an initial court appearance on Thursday, June 3, 2021.
The creek was one of 15 people indicted on Thursday, June 3, as part of the CCC gang. Creek is the alleged founder of the gang.
The indictment alleges members and associates of the Cruddy Conniving Crutballs gang committed 18 murders, 27 attempted murders, carjackings, robberies, assaults, engaged in witness intimidation and ran a street level drug distribution "shops" in east and northeast Baltimore. Specifically, selling crack cocaine and other dangerous narcotics.
Creek was scheduled to turn himself into federal authorities on June 3 after he was indicted on racketeering and drug conspiracy charges as part of an ongoing investigation but never showed up.
A federal grand jury charged 14 other members of the Triple C gang. It's alleged Creek accepted contracts on behalf of the gang to carry out dozens of murders and attempted murders.
Shots were fired at U.S. marshals and police as they tried to arrest Gary Creek at a Sandy Springs apartment complex, U.S.

The Peaky Blinders were a street gang based in Birmingham, England, which operated from the 1880s until the 1920s. The group consisted largely of young criminals from lower- to working-class backgrounds. They engaged in robbery, violence, racketeering, illegal bookmaking, and control of gambling. Members wore signature outfits that typically included tailored jackets, lapelled overcoats, buttoned waistcoats, silk scarves, bell-bottom trousers, leather boots, and peaked flat caps.

According to the indictments handed down by a Georgia grand jury, after the 2020 election, Harrison Floyd, then executive director of the Trump-funded Black Voters for Trump, attempted to coerce election worker Ruby Freeman into making a false confession of voter fraud. Allegedly, he set up a meeting between Freeman and the former publicist for R. Kelly and Ye, Trevian Kutti, who tried to pressure Ms. Freeman to lie or face the consequences.
Along with Floyd and Kutti, Lutheran Pastor Stephen Cliffgard Lee is also accused of attempting to intimidate witnesses and conspiring to solicit false statements and writings. About two weeks after President Trump accused Freeman and her daughter, Wandrea “Shaye” Moss, of pulling fake ballots from suitcases in Georgia, Cliffgard Lee appeared at Freeman’s door to speak to her. She was so alarmed she called the police. And an officer’s body cam showed his car parked in her driveway. In the video, “Lee encouraged the officer to let him speak with the election worker, suggesting he and his cohorts have some ‘pro-bono service for her.’”
All three, along with Trump and fifteen others, have been charged under Georgia’s RICO (Racketeering Influenced and Corrupted Organizations) Act. According to Georgia State University law professor Anthony Michael Kreis, “The basic premise of the RICO charge is that the unlawful enterprise was built and established and maintained for the singular unlawful purpose to overthrow the election and deny Georgians their right to vote.”
Americans have lost confidence in their government. We no longer trust our legislators and the Supreme Court to solve our country’s problems: income inequality, affordable health care, a woman’s right to decide what’s best for her health, the economy, and climate change. Governance has become a series of battles. It’s no longer just political ideology. We are at war over cultural issues while our politicians ignore our basic needs. And we’ve lost faith in our country’s institutions when ersatz news organizations like Fox knew Donald Trump lost the election but promoted voter fraud to get ratings.
The morals of our GOP legislators and their sycophants are just as important as their economic policy. How can we trust a party that Alex Patton, a Florida-based Republican consultant and pollster, has characterized as a party that “has become mean and driven by emotion on whom we dislike.”? “But,” he says, “that is the driving force in American politics right now.” That is the driving force of the GOP, not the Democrats. This is not an example of the equality of “bothsidesism.”
In my essay, “ It’s Time to Release Our Own Kraken!" I outlined the history of the Republican Party’s “below the belt” tactics. They continue to be underhanded to this day. But with the low level of civility in our present polarized country, many Republican legislators now in office have hit new ethical lows.
As a visual artist who has spent over a decade creating posters about the sorry state of American political discourse, this year I began a new series of portraits, "Faces of the Republican Party." The men and women in this series deserve to be taken to task for their unwillingness to compromise, belief in conspiracy theories, and disdain for the LGBTQ+ community, women’s rights, and our children’s education. The purpose of our government is to solve our nation’s problems. It’s not a place for personal vendettas or manufactured cultural issues.
“Faces of the Republican Party” is not a partisan series of portraits. Merriam-Webster defines the word as “a firm adherent to a party, faction, cause, or person, especially one exhibiting blind, prejudiced, and unreasoning allegiance.” The people depicted in these images are the partisans. Instead, my series is a documentary and op-ed showcasing the facts in 2022. All of them had a hand in trying to overthrow the government. These images are MAGA Republicans who put their blind allegiance to Donald Trump and their careers ahead of the needs of the American people.
Republicans are perfect examples of Patton’s “driving force.” This force is dirty, mean, misogynistic, selfish, and wastes our tax dollars. These people are just a small sampling of individuals responsible for the loss of credibility and faith in America’s institutions. And worse, they couldn’t care less.

The panel is reviewing whether or not he should be reprimanded, censured, or expelled. DeLuca pleaded guilty in June to conspiring with Danbury trash hauler James Galante to threaten his grandaughter's husband. DeLuca claims his granddaughter Casey was being abused by her husband. Galante is alleged to have ties to organized crime and faces a federal racketeering indictment. DeLuca's attorney Craig Raabe sits to the right.

Locals referred to it as the Chinatown Town Hall.

R. Kelly being found guilty of racketeering and sex crimes hasn’t hurt his music sales. In fact, the opposite seems to be happening.
The disgraced R&B legend’s music sales have jumped up 517 percent since a jury delivered a guilty verdict in the Kelly’s federal sex crimes case on Sept. 27, according to Rolling Stone.
The uptick hasn’t just been music sales. The 54-year-old singer’s on-demand audio streams are up 22 percent. His video streams have seen an increase as well, up 23 percent in comparison to the week before the guilty verdict was announced.
In 2021, a year in which Kelly has spent the entire time behind bars while the full extent of his sexual misconduct was being brought to light in trial, his streaming averages were more than they were in 2017.
He reportedly went from 5.4 million on-demand audio streams per week in 2017 to averaging around 6.4 million in the last 10 months.
Despite the spike in sales, everything is not all good for the crooner music-wise. Earlier this week, YouTube removed multiple R. Kelly channels from their platform.
“We can confirm that we have terminated two channels linked to R. Kelly in accordance with our creator responsibility guidelines,” a rep for YouTube confirmed to XXL about the termination. It is unclear if other streaming platforms will follow suit.
Kelly, who was found guilty of eight counts of sex trafficking and one count of racketeering is facing a maximum of life in prison when he is sentenced on May 4, 2022.

They told me yesterday they wanted to use this shot for the homepage today, but that if Blagojevich made big news they'd have to bump it. It's so reassuring to see we can all get along and share the interwebs so nicely, even if one of us "is facing 16 counts for racketeering, wire fraud, extortion, and lying to federal agents." (quote from the txt on the homepage next to Blago, there.)
