As you may know, Freedom Motors has been conducting perhaps the single largest and certainly most involved Holiday giveaway contest in Cullman County this season.

Today, Freedom Motors of Alabama (located at 102 Main St NE in Hanceville) thoughtfully selected and cleverly surprised the winner of the contest at Fred’s Super Dollar store.

Freedom Motors owner Scott Sams (with a strong assist from Santa Claus) presented the extremely lucky winner – Jamie Quick of Hanceville – with a 100% free, good mileage, immaculately clean 2005 Pontiac Montana SV6 Gray Mini-Van.

Quick trip onto campus for my 18th "Squirrel Run" at the University of Michigan since our work from home started to combat COVID-19. Headed in on a hot sunny day - Wednesday July 1st around midday. My squirrel friend Juli noticed a squirrel over at Law who had very bad puffy eyes. This squirrel, who I named Bingo, got the medicated pecan on Monday. She is due for another one early next week. She was moving around pretty well. I might be hopeful, but I think the puffiness around her eyes is going down. I will know more next week. Glad I got to visit my squirrel friends today. At a personal level, the squirrels cheer me up. They always do. Sending love and virtual hugs from Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Quick Left and Sprintly joined forces in early 2014...and decided to announce to the team in a company-wide retreat at Snow Mountain Ranch in Winter Park, Colorado.

I made this card exactly the same as the first one, using different colours of pipe cleaner and the little heart. I stamped "Thinking of You" on a scrap of paper I had done from another time, I think it was colouring soap bubbles. Anyway, I like how it turned out.
