A lunchtime special - beansprouts, shredded yellow pepper, carrot and cabbage were quickly stir fried along with Tianjin preserved vegetable, chili bean paste, and a splosh of rice wine, and then brought to the boil in a pan of chicken stock.
Early in the morning, I walked by the restaurant and there was a trench about 3 feet long. I walked by a little later and it stretched all the way to the sports equipment shack. Then, later in the afternoon, it was all completely filled back in.

The convergence zone blew through this morning dropping about half an inch of hail in 15 minutes and suddenly cleared out. Notice how fast the weather changes direction just as the hail drops and the convergence zone blows through.

There are some nice sunsets on the way back from work - not great driving facing the sun ... but luckily it's not me doing the driving for the carpool.

Did a very quick walk through the small arboretum at the park on a rainy morning. Seems like every day is rainy right now. Not many roses doing well but had to grab a few photos of the rain on roses, leaves and buds. As always, sorry for so many. :) All handheld so some not quite in sharp focus.
