Leah did pet Bonnie the armadillo, but she was so quick in doing it that I didn't hit the shutter on my camera fast enough.
moving @ 60kph seating at the backside of the passenger seat of an Isuzu D-max, i rolled down the window, let my head & camera out, and took a few quick shots at the bus behind us.. it felt great to travel around w/ my DSLR. :)
A Korean dude was seating at the front of the bus.
Not much time for photos with this group. There was a backup of Jeeps while people were negotiating a hard spot, so I jumped out for a quick shot.
I got to use my roommate's dslr, and had some fun taking these photos. the evol body is really very beautiful.

If you find yourself needing a light boom but you don't have one, here's a quick alternative. One light (Manfrotto 3330) held up by a Manfrotto 3336 using a Bogen Super Clamp. It provides the perfect length for a counterweight--in this case, I found one 3-pound ankle weight to be ideal.

Had some scrap lauan plywood sitting around, so hacked up a quick lens board for this old B&L Tessar I had. Probably not full 8x10 coverage, but more than you might expect. Getting around a messy shop on crutches is...silly. Glad nobody was watching.
Now to find some time – and some daylight – to take a test shot or two.
