Back in July (July 11th, see this photo flic.kr/p/2oP1c1t ), I had a little mishap with the Low Rider. Did a little quickfix on the front Fairing. Tempted to replace it, but, I kinda like to fix things. So I'm pulling the front fairing off and refinishing it. I am going to replace the brake pedal and levers, but I want to upgrade them anyway. I like the stock fairing, so I'm keeping it.

did this not take you back to the school days?
I enjoyed executing the idea that came to my mind while sorting the many shells I have collected during our beach walks. The 3 diff colored sand I had collected like a crazy child, from sand dunes near Hatta, Al-ain also needed to be put to some creative use...
So this is how it looked in the beginning..

We have become aware of a prohibited and dangerous use of the QUICKFIX adjustable strap.
Reports from the field and press photos alerted us that the QUICKFIX is being used as a lanyard for attachment to rappel stations. For your safety, remember that the QUICKFIX is designed only for positioning in aid climbing. In this case, the climber must be protected by a dynamic rope. Warning: the QUICKFIX does not protect against falls.
It must not be used as a lanyard (its strength is only 150 daN, or about 150 kg).
The strength of a lanyard must be at least 2200 daN, or about 2200 kg. Some climbers position themselves at the belay using their QUICKFIX, but in this case they must also be attached to the belay with the rope. Petzl recommends against this usage because eventually you may forget to attach yourself with the rope. Do not use the QUICKFIX on rappel.
To better illustrate this point, we did the following test:
80 cm fall onto a QUICKFIX strap adjusted to 80 cm.
80-kilo dummy.
QUICKFIX strap mounted on a SAMA harness (girth hitched through the tie-in points).
Result: clean break of the strap at the buckle (no slippage).

My coverage of Juno PJ5. This was the best window of opportunity for me from here, unfortunately still one rotation ahead of the flyby.
Forecast was for incoming cloud but I was fortunate to have clear skies and fairly decent seeing conditions.
I have annotated the RGB with some of the Juno mission selected POI’s, although I am not sure about the “Trevmation’s Dark spot” and also the “Double SEB”. No doubt there will be clarity when the Juno images come back.
Europa was just leaving its transit and was rather bright with some albedo feature visible. Europa on the RGB was a “quickfix” for aesthetic purposes only and may not be a 100% accurate reflection of position and colour.
Here is a cow grazing up the hill from Ardvorlich House on the way down the hill from Ben Vorlich. If only it had been a higjhland cow I could have done a calander and made my fortune!
Dove Davis ( letting agency in Edinburgh) was not able to fix it without pressure.
Yes all the tiles were falling of the wall.

The author of this statue/fountain is Simeon Roksandic (1874-1943). Roksandic was informed that the ship transporting his sculpture had sunk, so he made another copy. As it turned out, the original was not lost, so he ended up with two copies of this sculpture. Currently, this is located in Kalemegdan park in Belgrade, and the other is in Jezuitski Square, Zagreb, Croatia.
