A small acoustic set i did with a friend at a pub in Oxford on 7th July 2007. Nice.

Charities receive hundreds of thousands of tonnes of donated clothing & textiles per year. They retain less than 10% for sale in their thrift shops for fundraising.

This photo was taken in Enschede, in subdivision Overijssel. MAKOMO and SEBABO and Berty were nearby. It was partly sunny when I made this photo. The prognosis is pleasant with sunny intervals. This photo is taken on Wednesday, August 06, 2008 8:40:53 PM and context-tagged with IYOUIT.

Supplys mostly repaired, PEX piece and a Sharkbite tee, coupler added to get everything working again.

we dressed to match.

I just folded it under so it lied [more] flat. Not perfect, but ... well, it's already been given as a gift so I'll have to steal it back to fix it. Or just have a glass of wine and forget about it.

The warehouse supervisor is preparing already cut rags for further export.

This rag has so far traveled over 6,000km since it’s initial donation to charity.

Hundreds of thousands of tonnes of donated clothing is shipped overseas each year for sorting into rag and by-product. At what cost is the carbon footprint where a kilo of zippers or buttons can be sold for less than 5 cents and cut wool less than 20 cents after traveling 3,000km to do so?

The author of this statue/fountain is Simeon Roksandic (1874-1943). Roksandic was informed that the ship transporting his sculpture had sunk, so he made another copy. As it turned out, the original was not lost, so he ended up with two copies of this sculpture. Currently, this is located in Jezuitski Square, Zagreb, Croatia., and the other is in Kalemegdan park in Belgrade, Serbia

I just watched "Fiddler on the Roof" and this square & statue are quite visible as the setting for a communist demonstration.

One of the most fun photoshoot! My daughter kai got to be with me :) Thanks Quickfix!

the line of fix-stitching on the underside of the oilcloth apron-half. It worked all right.

Or 'Supa Glue'. It appears that Selleys' marketting persons cannot spell... Purchased to fix some broken crockery, but it may well find uses elsewhere as well

Our stove's hinges break when my mom fell into it. So to lose we duct tape.

When I had my Mom ask Stefano about how to make traditional spaghetti alla carbonara, she just told me that he said it was very simple and was considered to be only what you cook up when the wifey or the cook is gone :P

Either way, I know we both enjoy carbonara and it was a quick fix for us after a long day out :)
