Helena, MT. Clearly what we have here is a question that not even a nebulous, floating, metallic Mickey Mouse symbol can answer, and that, my friends, is scary indeed.

(Not) Knowing begins with asking questions

This question mark butterfly was one of several who were feeding on rotting fallen persimmons in our backyard in Conway, Arkansas.

I came to work to a dead hard drive this morning. Harsh.

My "monkey mind" as the yoga guru's call it is in hyper drive. Where to go, what to do, having so much possibility and even freedom of choices is overwhelming. Who ever thought that could become a bad thing?! :)

 

Later in the day I finally had my "ah ha" moment and came to a peaceful place that I'm not supposed to find out all the answers. Perhaps my lesson right now is to dwell in the not knowing, to not have it all planned, organized with every destination lined up. But to be okay, calm at peace, dare I say even happy within the moment and outcome of each day and what it brings me. Being open to each possibility and following thru with even the smallest intuitions and gut feelings and see where it takes me.

Went to the park this afternoon to take my camera for a walk. Overcast skies provided good light for shooting insects. This is the discarded exoskeleton of the nymphal form of a cicada.
