Dad questioning me on why I think everyone should be aware of cutting edge

physics: for one it answers the big questions in life like "which of two

kittens would die if 'spooky action at a distance' really does exist in

reality", ie do we have free will!

lately i've been questioning how I've been told to plan my life out. We're all planning and waiting for the next stage, and find ourselves under this weird weight that says if we do things out of order, or too soon, or too late, then we've somehow failed. Why is different timing considered failed timing? The only thing I know to be true is the Lords timing. And his timing is perfect isn't it? So why am i so caught up in trying to avoid, plan, protect, and guide myself and my career, or marriage, or school, or womanhood when the Lords timing is what I want. Even if that means it might be uncomfortable. Quickly. I don't want to disregard wisdom in patience, or wisdom in financial and career goals, but I don't want to plan my life according to my specific societal pressures. Why am I planning the next five years out when I'm not promised five years more. I'm promised nothing, but Christ. In the end he is all I need, and all I should want. I should be living knowing he is by far in more control over my body, married, and career that I am. Trusting that He opens and closes doors, opportunities, and even my womb. It doesn't feel right to go about trying to control it. I think it's His. So I'll give it to Him. I think I'm ready to let Him have my five year plan.

So... do you think I can buy a bunch of wrattens, cut them down to fit between 2 77mm UV filters, and then have a whole set of filters? admittedly there's no wratten 2 of circular polarizer but they do have linear. and a slew of ND filters. It'd be sort of like my own personal cokin holder to have them sandwiched between two UV. Am I crazy? Insane? Help?

Questioning the implications of Artificial Intelligence

‘Do You Trust This Computer?’ is a documentary that explores the significance of A.I. for humanity. According to several leading scientists, artificial intelligence is probably the greatest threat to our existence. The documentary casts a grim look at the future with the message that if we do not intervene now, humanity will not survive.

The question is, how should we intervene? What are we still missing in the discussion about the future of artificial intelligence? Scare tactics often distort the debate and leave out many nuances in the discussion of artificial intelligence. MU rather shapes a more nuanced public discussion. After the screening, an expert panel will reflect on what they have seen and what their thoughts are.

This screening and panel discussion takes place in the context of the exhibitions by Zach Blas & Heather Dewey-Hagborg.

Moderator: Patricia de Vries

Panel: Joaquin Vanschoren, Merel Noorman, Rosa Wevers.

When it concerns the top secret of stars Makeup you may be questioning why star makeup always looks so fantastic and remarkable. Well, except for the reality that most of them have steady access to their personal star makeup artist, the top secret to great looking makeup is just applying some easy policies.

It is very important that you know your skin type. Choosing makeup which is for a diverse skin type from yours can cause spots and damaged skin. If you do not acknowledge what skin category you have, then a great way is to visit you area department shop where they have beauty parlor and the rest, and request a beauty consultant. They need to be able to lead you, then you will determine what kind of products will fit your skin.

Looking after your skin is crucial, and there is one specific method to guarantee untimely aging, and that is sunshine. You need to always utilize a sun block, there are a lot of healthy methods to get color into your face, without opening up your skin to the sun. Therefore for young and soft skin, shelter your face with a sun block.

New trends at all times bring diverse shades and colors. But bear in mind, just since a specific color is in style, does not suggest it will fit you. Find the traditional shades and colors, and get the colors that fit you. Dressing in colors that do not go with your hair,.

Take into consideration what your strengths are. Are they in the lips, the eyes? Take your strengths to the fore, and accentuate luscious lips or terrific eyes. Make those lips pout and the eyes pop. On the other hand, do not fetch concentration to the parts of the face you do not like.

One big mistake individuals make is to wear their makeup in bad light. The reason why dressing areas are surrounded by lights is to avoid this mistake. Ensure you are applying your makeup in great light.

I feel a challenge in my soul today

Questioning things I believed in so firmly yesterday

How can I have faith in myself and what I feel to be true

When the next day I feel my heart and mind telling me something new

I feel the twisting of my soul today

Something is challenging my perceptions

And what I`m going through is hard

And I admit, right now I`m not O.K. So...

I feel a burden in my spirit today

Feels like everything that I`ve ever trusted in

Has been washed away

I feel like I`m grappling for the truth

Don`t understand decisions that I made while in my youth

In my mind I know I gotta live with what I`ve chosen

But in my heart I struggle

¡®Cuz I can`t live with a heart that`s frozen

Inside my heart and soul just want to fly

Here's a couple of pieces that probably had some people, more specifically my wife, questioning my sanity. In my defense, it was cheap and I was in Winnipeg, so I needed a little something extra to keep me powering through the week.

Nendoroid Anna and Elsa from Frozen.

Now, I'm not as big of a Disney Nerd, as it were, as I used to be. I've always enjoyed their designs (though IMHO Aladdin beats them all), and I did enjoy the once or twice I saw Frozen. The story was cute, and the designs were quite nice. Didn't quite get into Carpool Karaoke mode that many others did when the song came on the radio, and with my children being quite young, I didn't have to endure tone dea.... I mean.. charming, renditions of the songs by my daughters.

Whist in Winnipeg, a local seller had these up for $25 a pop, albeit with slight damage to the Olaf that came with Anna. Figured it was a good opportunity to get them both at once, so one rainy morning before work I met up with the seller and got the deal one.

On a side note, the Medicom Anna and Elsa are OUTSTANDING, and I would love to get my hands on those without having to pay black market organ prices.

If you haven't watched Frozen.. somehow.. then you're probably still somewhat familiar with the characters. Anna is the plucky younger sister of the Royal family, while Elsa is quite literally an Ice Queen, and lives a life like Bruce Wayne from Act One of The Dark Knight Rises.

As I've probably said before, the Nendoroid "style" lends itself to certain characters. At worst, you get a chibi version of a normal proportioned character, like with those Cosbaby release that Hot Toys puts out, but sometimes that Nendoroid magic just makes this release of the character that much more magical.

In this case, it leans more towards the magical side, though not as magically delicious as, say Kirby. The simplifed art style and cute proportions do make animated characters like Anna and Elsa somewhat more appealing that normal, but I feel that, especially in the case of Elsa, there significant loss of detailing on the outfits is to the detriment of the overall character itself.

Again, your standard Nendoroid rules regarding articulation, QC, included accessory types and so on apply here. Of the two, I'd have to give the slight advantage to Elsa with her raised eyebrow expression and much cooler ice based accessories.

Olaf.. well, he's kind of there. Nice addition, but ultimately doesn't really add a whole lot to the set IMHO because if you bought one, you probably bought both to display together.

GSC included a set of arms that allows you to link the two figures together in that pose I keep picturing Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie in.

This also brings me to the weakest part of the set, as it were.. that horrible snowflake base that Elsa comes with. It's honestly like a take out container lid with a snowflake moulded in.

Obviously while not an essential part of the Nendoroid experience (I don't think I actually own any of those, to be honest), a good solid set of figures that you shouldn't hesitate on if you find them for a good price.
