Quantum entanglement is a quantum mechanical phenomenon in which the quantum states (that are the mathematical representation of a physics system) of two or more objects have to be described with reference to each other, even though the individual objects may be spatially separated. If entangled, one constituent cannot be fully described without considering the other(s).
For example, if a pair of particles are generated in such a way that their total spin is known to be zero, and one particle is found to be spin-up, then the spin of the other particle will be found to be down, as to be expected due to their entanglement. As a result, measurements performed on one system seem to be instantaneously influencing other systems entangled with it.
However, this behavior gives rise to paradoxical effects: measurement made on either of the particles apparently collapses the state of the entire entangled system — and does so instantaneously, before any information about the measurement result could have been communicated to the other particle and hence assured the "proper" outcome of the measurement of the other part of the entangled pair.
Einstein’s fight was to demonstrate the impossibility of the entanglement and, as a consequence, the incompleteness of the quantum theory, but with no success. As a matter of fact, the entanglement is a fundamentally non-classical phenomenon and it seems to find confirmation in some experiments. It would be used in many technologies...and it is actually used in a lot of unconscious love declarations.

The traditional signing of the fairing of the Ariane 5 that will carry the Quantum satellite into space, at Europe's Space Port in Kourou, French Guyana on 21 July 2021.
Quantum, the ESA Partnership Project with Eutelsat, Airbus and Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd, is a pioneering mission preparing the way for the next generation of telecommunications satellites, which will be more flexible by design and so more adaptable to customer needs once in orbit.
Quantum is a shift from custom-designed satellite with one-off payloads to a more generic approach, resulting in unprecedented in-orbit reconfigurability in coverage, frequency and power, allowing complete mission rehaul, including orbital position.
ESA partnered with satellite operator Eutelsat and manufacturer Airbus to design this programme, in response to today's market requiring satellites to be able to respond to changes in geographical or performance demand, either during manufacturing or after launch. This will enable the operator to address emerging business opportunities — even those that appear after it has ordered a satellite.
Such ESA Partnership Projects maximise the benefits to industry thanks to an efficient, co-managed approach that is tailored to commercial best practice.

Revisiting my archives. This lucky capture from three years ago reminds me of the idea of other dimensions, each refracted reality in each drop a parallel universe.
I used the Shadow/Highlight tool in the Image/Adjustments menu in Photoshop to increase the dynamic range of the original photo. I also saturated the colors in some channels to bring out the detail of things that aren't green, like the band of blue sky in the bottom of the drop.

I started this build before seeing the movie. I kept mostly the design I had in mind. Maybe I’ll modify it to be more faithful with EndGame using the appropriate minifig.

NGV Triennial. National Gallery of VictoriaRefik Anadol’s Quantum memories, 2020, draws upon a dataset of more than two hundred million nature-related images from the internet, which are processed using quantum computing software developed by the Google AI Quantum research team in combination with a supercomputer that has been programmed with machine-learning algorithms. The resulting real-time video can be considered both an alternate dimension of the natural world and a radical visualisation of our digitised memories of nature. Anadol’s arresting visuals and accompanying audio are composed in collaboration with a generative algorithm enabled by artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum computing – a new form of computing that exploits the unusual physics of the subatomic world – turning the visual data that flows around us every day into an artwork that represents our collective memory of nature. Through the work, the artist encourages us to imagine the potential of this experimental computer technology and the immense opportunities it presents for the future of art and design.
