As a kid I read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. A Swiss chocolate factory was closed when we were there years ago. I finally scored in Toronto's Distillery District, where I got to see the real thing. Up With Chocolate!!!!

128/365 We went strawberry picking today and ended up picking a flat and eating a few more. I'm pretty sure we got the better end of the deal. My son quickly took the lead role of quality control and enjoyed sampling as many as he could.

Visiting schools for a ten year old's impending leap from primary to secondary can be a stressful process. Schools across Westminster, Southwark and Lambeth have their Open Days on the same day and the hours of opportunity to look around the school and hear the Headteacher give their motivational recruitment speech in some cases overlap, with the venues kilometres apart.
So it was yesterday when we went to Pimlico and then to Kingsdale and after to Charter.
My partner suggested that we should take the bus over the river and I suggested driving because Pimlico was from 8.45am to 10am and Kingsdale was 10am to 11am and they are about 10KM apart. It all seemed very straightforward. Pay the congestion charge and park near the school. Except there is NOWHERE to park in Pimlico anymore. I dropped them off...
