I love Halloween. I guess the greatest reason is that it brings the community together in a way no other holiday does. As I sit on my porch and give away candy, I meet my neighbors. Who lives on my block? I probably wouldn't know, except for Halloween night.
Last night, the weather was cold and windy, so I have a lot of candy left over. But, I start the new day with the memory of meeting many nice people. No politics or competitive thinking. Just community.
Little River Road puts on the smoke show that we had come to see as it cruises along near Squires Road. (Scanned from a slide)
My father always purchased his car’s from LaCrosse, WI auto dealers. Maybe they gave better deals than dealers where he lived in Rochester, MN…….I’ll just never know, but LaCrosse offered more choices of railroads to view and photograph. With a recent coating of orange somewhat carefully applied to its nose, Milwaukee Road 86A and two sisters put their train together in the yard on 08-04-1978. No doubt this freight will head west up the River Division to Pigs Eye yard in St. Paul. These F’s have a couple of more years to live, and the Milwaukee Road will be gone in 1980.
On one of this large development's many new houses. Probably not affordable for most people, unless with a forever mortgage. Even though that's the south side I'm surprised there's not a single window. iPhone 8+ photo.

This was not a staged shot. It was purely a coincidence that two players had these balls, and on one hole they ended up in the cup one right after another.
After a few months, I can't get over how often I use this camera. Quirky? Yes. But so was the Leica M3 it reminds me so much of.
The menus are ... weird. And the focus can be aggravatingly slow and imprecise. But what the camera gets right makes it worth putting up with the niggling problems. One day they'll fix them. And when they do, I'll be waiting in line.
For a guy that spent a lot of time with rangefinders back in the day, the Fuji X100 is an absolute joy to use. I am headed to the UK for two weeks (family vacation) and this is all I am bringing. No external flash. Probably won't use the internal one either.
I was shocked to find First Midland Red 67640 VX54MRU Alexander Dennis Enviro300 making a rather unexpectedly rare visit to Kidderminster it is seen on layover at Kidderminster bus station before operating a X19 service to Worcester Warriors Rugby Club a bus service which I didn’t know ever existed for a game against Rotherham Titans v Worcester Warriors. This Enviro300 is based at Firsts Worcester depot and was originally new to First Midland Red in 2005 at their former Redditch depot.

A while ago I met Yvette Leur Photography and we connected quite well. We sat together a few times and decided to do a collaboration shoot, and bring our own ideas together. Creeping out of our comfort zones we managed to put together an amazing shoot, featuring Jaimie and Lieke as our main characters in this dreamy shoot.
We had such a great time planning and putting together the set for the shoot.
