Zeiss Ikon Ikoflex IIa w/ Zeiss-Opton Tessar 3.5/75 and Kodak Tri-X @ EI 1600 (Kodak D76 1:1, Ilford rapid fixer). f/5.6, 1/25s. Epson V700 and Silverfast SE Plus 8.0 @ 4800 dpi, downsized to 2400 dpi. Retouched and cropped.
Taken on a half-gloomy April afternoon. The TLR is a rather nifty studio camera, specially if you do posed portraits, since you more or less need a tripod to find perfect focus. But for headshots or non-sitting subjects it's a bit challenging to get in the same eye-hight. I would use an SLR anyday for that!
That Tessar lens doesn't disappoint, it's contrasty and sharp all over. Without a focusing prism you still need to stop down to f/4-5.6 to be somewhat certain that you got accurate focus anyway, although the groundglass of the Ikoflex IIa is rather bright and clear. So having "just" f/3.5 as largest aperture isn't a big deal.

I can get Kodak Gold 200 fairly easily and for an okay price near me, but 400 ISO film is a bit harder and more expensive to get, so I tried pushing and push processing Gold 200, because 400 is handy for fall and winter light conditions. I got a couple of shots in sunny conditions, some in undercast conditions, and a few indoors too, and while the grain is not bad, the shadows need to come out a bit more. The film can possibly have more time in the developer or I can scan with my Epson V550 where I can do more adjustments, but my Pakon F135 is so convenient and I like the colours from it.

I've had a bit of a flickr'break the past few weeks. Sorting out loose ends to put a close on 2009.
Feeling refreshed & relaxed after a few trips way.
Just got a big batch of films back from the developer, so expect some more regular postings! (well, at least until we go away for Xmas)
I hope to visit your flickstreams soon!
