Pushkar is a Holy City created by Brahma who dropped a lotus flower here. It is the only Brahma temples so pilgrims come to visit from all over India.

Pushkar is the oldest among the cities of India. Situated in the Aravali range in the Ajmer district of Rajasthan, Pushkar is often referred to as the Teerth-Raj, which means the king of pilgrimage sites. It is one of the five pilgrimage sites or dowry for later people of Hinduism. There are many temples in Pushkar trip and the most famous temple is the Brahma Temple, which is one of the few temples dedicated to Brahma in the world. Pushkar is also famous for the lake, which has 52 ghats. Pilgrims from all over the country visit the lake to take a dip in its sacred waters.

 

The sacred Pushkar trip lake revolves with mantras and hymns from 400 blue-colored temples situated on its banks. Pushkar is also known as the ‘Rose Garden of Rajasthan’, due to the cultivation of flowers in and around the city. These flowers are exported worldwide. Surrounded by hills, Pushkar is a popular destination among devotees and tourists. In recent years, Pushkar has become one of the most famous tourist destinations among Indian and international tourists. The annual Pushkar Camel Fair, to be held in November, is going to draw a huge crowd. Spirituality and peace will make you instantly fall in love with Pushkar. Information about History of Pushkar

In Sanskrit, Pushkar means blue lotus flower. Pushkar has an interesting history. According to legends, Brahma found Parshakar to be ideal for his Mahayana. Soon he comes to know about Vajanash, a demon, killing the people of the city. Brahma killed the demon by chanting a mantra on a lotus flower.
