The building on the right encloses one of the bigger temples in Pushkar. The temple enclosures were either designed this way in Pushkar, or a large haveli was converted into a temple. Most havelis have small temples at the center of their courtyards, so maybe the larger temples grew from these smaller temples.

It is semicircular lake around which there are 52 "Ghats". The max depth

of the lake is 10 mts. The lake is a holy place and is known as the king

of the "Trithas". The bath at Pushkar is thought to be more important

than at any other place. The holy dip in this lake on kartika Purnima is

thought to be salvation giving. The man who BATHES in the Shukla Paksha

WALL OF DEATH - No helmet or padding, just hanging it all out there. I think they were banned in the U.S. because they were too dangerous. When I was up in the ring of stands over the wall I had visions of the whole thing collapsing and was always happy to reach the ground on foot.

Wikipedia describes:The Wall of Death, motordrome, silodrome[1] or Well of Death (aka "Maut ka Kuaa", India) is a carnival sideshow featuring a silo- or barrel-shaped wooden cylinder, ranging from 20 to 36 feet (6.1 to 11.0 m) in radius inside of which motorcyclists, or the drivers of miniature automobiles, travel along the vertical wall and perform stunts, held in place by centripetal force. — at Puskar, Rajasthan.
