Roll up! Roll up! Roll up for the Magical Mystery Tour!

Pushkar is one of the oldest existing cities of India. It lies on the shore of Pushkar Lake. The date of its actual origin is not known, but legend associates Brahma with its creation.

Taken in Pushkar, such beautiful eyes and a radiant smile. An image of happiness

Bordering the Thar Desert, Pushkar is a pilgrimage site for Hindus. Considered a sacred city, it is located on the shore of Pushkar Lake, which has many ghats where pilgrims bathe.

A holy place that attracted the hippy overlanders of the 1960s, it is entirely vegetarian - no meat eggs or alcohol are allowed there.
