My push was given by Timothy. His stream is awesome BTW. He pushed me using 4 rules. No persons, must have bright color(s), must represent where I live and a fairly close-up shot. This was challenging for me for several reasons; making it a great push. Firstly, I am new to photography so everything is hard. Secondly I mainly take photos of people. Lastly I rarely use colors, I am a b&w freak. However I tried to meet the challenge.

This is the Oleander, it is the official flower of the British Virgin Islands. They can be found all over the island in white or pink. I used the pink because I was asked to use a bright color. I hope this met the requirements of my push!!

Looks better on black.

At RMU Banovici's Oskova washery during the evening of 23rd February 2015, 760mm gauge 0-6-0 tank 25-30 (built by CKD in 1947) gives a hard push through the tipping dock with discharged hopper wagons, in order to place them in a loop to be collected later by a diesel loco. It then sets back light using the adjacent line, returning up the grade to the exchange sidings to collect another load for tipping. The tipping dock labourers meanwhile take a quick break in their bothy before the next load arrives for tipping.

The very scruffy pusher unit at the rear of this BNSF coal train is a 1995 built EMD SD70MAC. In a land of GE four strokes this EMD two stroke sounds foreign.

The EMD 710 is a line of diesel engines built by Electro-Motive Diesel (previously General Motors' Electro-Motive Division). The 710 series replaced the earlier EMD 645 series when the 645F series proved to be unreliable in the early 1980s 50-series locomotives which featured a maximum engine speed of 950 rpm. The EMD 710 is a relatively large medium speed two-stroke diesel engine that has 710 cubic inches (11.6 liters) displacement per cylinder, and a maximum engine speed of 900 rpm.
