Allegiant Air Airbus A-320 pushes back from Gate 3 at Clearwater-St. Pete Airport, heading for Cincinnati OH.
Pushing westbound and caboose-first just east of Chillicothe, Oh on trackage that was originally the CH&D Dayton-Wellston-Ironton mainline, CSX local H776 is bound for the NS interchange, and then the Glatfelter paper mill. In later years, after the end of through trains between Dayton and Wellston (?), this was renamed the Renick Sub., and since the late '80s or early '90s CSX calls it the Renick Industrial Track. This location is between the Stauffer Lane crossing and the route 23 overhead.
not perfect form, but he sure gets a big push at the start of backstroke, his favorite event. This is T ( my son) again. I love the water in this shot, and so does he.
I miss Japanese toilets. They have heated toilet seats! It took some courage daring to press the different buttons, especially since I don't understand Japanese. The pictograms sort of speaks for themselves, though. So I took my time and was kind of experimenting with the buttons a bit and pressing the ones without pictogram...when suddenly there was hard knock on the door to the toilet. I got really nervous that I'd pressed some button that would call for someone to come or something, but on the outside stood a Japanese girl looking quite desperate to get to the bathroom. Stupid stupid stupid tourists...
R761 and K190 running in push-pull bring Steamrail Victoria's Rail and Sail tour into platform 3 at Southern Cross Station from Newport.
Here the R will run around the train and attach to the front of the K and they will double head to Geelong and back.

Somewhere near La Push this tiny coastal waterfall pours down from high above Third Beach. This is the entry point to the Wilderness Hike along the western-most coastline of Washington State. Definitely one of the coolest hikes I've ever done!

This is how to wire a push/pull pot to bypass the tone control in a guitar. When the tone pot is set on "10", the full resistance of the pot (250K, 500K, etc.) is applied between the signal and the capacitor. This means that even with the knob on full, the capacitor is still cutting some of the signal. Many people remove their tone controls to completely eliminate the capacitor and thus have a brighter tone, but I have come to find that a simple bypass switch in the form of a push/pull pot will give you both worlds without compromise.

The Great White Pelican is a huge bird. In breeding condition the male has pinkish skin on its face and the female has orangey skin. It has white plumage, a bare pink facial patch around the eye and pinkish legs. Males are larger than females, and have a long beak that grows in a downwards arc, as opposed to the shorter, straighter beak of the female. Immature Great White Pelicans are grey and have dark flight feathers.
The pelican's pouch serves simply as a scoop. As the pelican pushes its bill underwater, the lower bill bows out, creating a large pouch which fills with water and fish. As the bird lifts its head, the pouch contracts, forcing out the water but retaining the fish.
The Great White Pelican breeds from southeastern Europe through Asia and in Africa in swamps and shallow lakes. In Africa, they occur mainly around freshwater and alkaline lakes, and may also be found in coastal areas.

Our group sought to create a prescription pill bottle that proves easier to use and that addresses the needs of people who suffer from arthritis or other diseases that cause limited dexterity within an ageing population. We conducted market research and discovered a great design opportunity. The prescription bottle has not been redesigned since it was available on the market in 1970s. From our market research we place objective and design constrains that would best suit out target market. We researched human capabilities, environmental constraints, standards and regulations along with manufacturing technology processes to assist us in our design. Then we started to mock up prototypes to test and verify our theories. We conducted user trials on our working prototype so see and hear what our users had to say. We set tasks that would seek out potential problems with our prescription bottle design. Our user trails were then analyzed and broken down into components to see where the product fell short and where it excelled. This document also discusses further recommendations for the prescription bottle.
