Sunset. After the first day of fishing, we were boated 10 minutes up the point to the main city of Punta Allen. One of our fishing guides showed us the way to La Casa Serena, a funky little place run by an ex-patriot American woman named Serena.

40 miles on a dirt track - and this is a very good stretch! The potholes outnumber the smooth bits!

We drove this in a small car - our advice would be not to do this unless you have loads of time! You'd be far better off with a 4x4.
