Here is The Punch Room, a secret little bar in the back of The London EDITION where we are staying during our stop here. Well, we're not staying in the bar, but we might as well be... We do come here every night, see all sorts of things, and read a hardbound menu that is equivalent of a Dickensian tome. We've been having something called Milk Punch which I think is a bit like the Fight Milk from Sunny in Philadelphia. I'm not sure, but that's the only milk-based drink of fiction to which I can impart to the imbibed.

So far the most difficult challenge. Introspection is a very personal and difficult thing. To share it is to have trust and faith, in ones self and in others.
Truth is....I didn't want to do this challenge...Getting punched is something I am all too familiar with. I know I am not the only one and for that thought alone I do this. If you think what happened to me doesn't directly affect you then you would be wrong. How I know you and how I let you know me is the direct effect. My ability to be a good friend and to appreciate life is tainted by being abused. How I love you and how I let you love me is greatly affected. My ability to take you at face value and to believe that you mean me no harm is affected by that. I won't get into all the boo hoo details.....but I will tell you this: maybe all the above is true but there is no fucking way I cower...act meek....or ever let myself be mistreated or hit again. I will fucking burn you in the bed you sleep in! So I guess good does come from bad. All of my experiences in life have made me what I am...a very sweet, loving, caring person who pulls no punches and takes no shit! I wanted to write more but I think I've said enough....xoxo

Punch Bowl Falls is a waterfall on Eagle Creek in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, Oregon, United States. Eagle Creek drains into the Columbia River, with its outlet on the Columbia River Gorge in Multnomah County. In June, the view is mostly obstructed from the trail, so stayed along the fast flowing creek and worked my way into the creek for a water-level view of the falls. June 8, 2017

I had to wade waist deep out into the river to get this shot. I felt that the vantage point was worth the cold water.

When you looks at "Coward Punch", "King Hit", "One Punch" attacks, you ask yourself how you can stop them horrific attacks from happening?Tightening the laws around it won't fix the problem. The problem lies with how society defines a Man.
On some level society expects and teaches us that men are expected to be violent, unemotional and sexually aggressive. These 'norms' lead to attacks like this. Next time someone ask you to 'be a man' Ask yourself what that really means...

You may have seen a bunch of photographs on my Flickr recently with little information behind them, or they instead simply featured a caption or quote. These were apart of a Photographic series I decided to do after watching 4 plays at Perth Fringe this year. 4 of my closest friends put on four amazing plays, all of which really moved me. So these art pieces just sort of formed around that. The plays all affected me in different ways, and others talked about a lot of important issues. It was also a great way to practice and play around on Photoshop, which has been fun.
My creative process differs and changes a lot and I find countless things inspire me. Traditionally I see something and tell myself, 'Oh I could make that in Lego' But these were a little more unique, they were born out of emotion and levels of truth. I've found it to be a powerful and helpful tool for art, is when you're feeling any kind of heightened emotion, positive or negative, pour that into art, and watch the magic happen. So that's very much what these were. Hopefully you enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed making them.
I never came anywhere close to use these myself - to my generation they are already the lore of the great ancient times. There was a cardboard full of them at the library, you could use them to take notes. Of course, I had to have a few. In real life, they are pink. No idea what system they were for.

One of my favorite waterfalls to hike to. It is a 4 mile hike with a great payoff. But in order to receive the payoff this time of year you have to wade out in the water to see it. If you compare this shot with others of mine , you can see that the girth of the waterfall is greater this time of the year.
