Pathimoonnu KannAra rail Paalam ( 13 arch bridge) is a well known railway bridge located at Kazhuthuruti and it is part of Kollam -Shenkottai railway line (Kerala,India). This bridge which completed 100 years in year 2002 have 13 arches made of stone bricks. Architectural beauty of 'stone brick arches' of this curved bridge which is located between two greenish rocky-hillocks and a creek covered with bushes on its other side provided a splendid backdrop for many south Indian movie songs. As part of upgradation to broad-gauge line, bridge was reinforced and authorities could not fully restore the classic beauty of bridge as it was before. Around 106 years of Punalur - Sengottai MG railroad service came to an end on 21-09-2010. This line was closed for guage conversion.

Dual headed Golden Rock WDG-3As arrives Sengottai bang on time hauling the 14-Coacher Kollam-Tambaram special train on a monsoon evening. This is the first train to traverse through entire Kollam-Punalur-Sengottai section after more than a decade after Guage Conversion.
