Photography often provides moments of relaxation and serenity but occasionally it can provide the exact opposite.

This was shot out on one of the sometimes inhospitable rock shelves on Auckland's west coast on a stormy evening with a big swell running. These are the shoots where you usually find yourself in a heightened state of awareness with your pulse racing. These also happen to be the ones I enjoy the most.

" Euphoria Art is in the air" : Une vingtaine d'installations immersives où l'air devient matière et émotion. Grand Palais Paris.

A few weeks ago, I was photographing on outdoors. I don’t remember the last time, as I’m not into sun, flowers and bugs not that much. But, sometimes I do with my camera and sometimes you find something that interest you, something like this you’ll see here. My pulse was ticking fast! The pilot in the dark is Yavin pilot looking for fuel for his TIE fighter. I didn't saw the TIE fighter, as it was hidden. Anywayahwanna, this moment was something I’ll cherish a long time!

And finally a new addition to my Action Figure Project. I really love to do these time to time, and especially when there’s a story to tell! Just for clarification, this scene is made of two separate photographs and put together as one on Ps. These are called composites and it’s quite popular art form to perform. You should try it out, if you’re into photography and Star Wars! But if you're more into see and discover new things, I have to suggest you to an art book by Cedric Delsaux (in my shelf, too!). It's titled as Dark Lens and it features high quality photos, with an introduction by George Lucas.

"A shimmering mass of 30 acrobats from Australia and 30 Choir members from Barcelona unite and divide becoming spectacular systems and organisms of muscle, bone and voice." (G&OM)

The promo will run until wednesday 5pm SLT.

Available in 8 Colors in Maitreya Lara Size. Control hud for metal texture.

Another Light up Leicester installation. This one had seemingly endless light and sound sequences. Definitely worth hanging around for a while.

Last nights aurora delivered the goods.

The sky was dancing and pulsing at a speed I've never before witnessed.

We headed straight to the hoodoos in Drumheller and watched the display go through many changes.

I have lots of shots from last night but this was my favourite.

Thanks for looking

Kleiner Hobbit asked me to edit one of his awesome pictures. I did it!

This is a really nice capture of some place in Thailand and it reminds me a lot of the Block Party Cover to a weekend in the city.

Therefore today I will post a Youtube Link with a song I recommend to listen to!

Because of the editing I stopped posting the next Tram picture. I will do it the days after so come back and check it.

If you don’t know kleiner Hobbit check his profile he is really getting good!

This was pretty photographer-proof. The lighting of jellyfish tanks in such aquaria is wonderful, and I had to do very little except click the shutter.

I posted several other shots from this trip, and this one I only put on Flickr as an afterthought, thinking it a fairly standard shot. I was amazed when the view count started spiralling up and up until after a day it had had more than a thousand views and been made a favorite dozens of times. I was told it appeared on the front page of Explore, though I didn't manage to see it for myself.

I think the colour is what makes it stand out. As far as I know, I haven't had a shot in Explore for a couple of years now, even though I know my photography is generally much better than it was then. Maybe they've changed the criteria, or maybe I'm unwittingly doing things that make my pictures inelligible. Anyway, I still remember how much fun it was watching the comments for this one pile up.

It was taken at Kayukan aquarium in Osaka bay. A great place that I've visited a number of times.

the city hummed outside, alive with the season's buzz, yet here, behind glass and strings of colored light, was stillness. the bokeh of a thousand tiny bulbs blurred into an electric haze, framing a man who sat quietly, detached from the festive chaos. his eyes drifted sideways, lost in thought, as if the lights had stolen his attention but not his heart.

there’s a story in his hands, wrapped around a half-eaten meal. the kind of moment caught in transit—between the glow of holiday cheer and the weight of something heavier. madrid’s pulse continued on, neon reflections bouncing off the glass, but in this corner of the night, time slowed. the decorations tried to bring joy, but they felt distant, merely an echo of warmth.

beneath the cold, muted tones of a coat and hat, there was a flicker of warmth. but it wasn’t from the season—it was from the human condition, the quiet battles we all carry, unnoticed in the noise.
