Chinese Ready to Assemble Spice Pullout. This is installed to the right of the cooktop. It's the stupidest design ever. It should have a short slanted top shelf for small spices and then two shelves below for medium and the bottom should be for large bottles such as vinegars

On a clear day, the pullout at Sunrise Point offers a good view of Mount Adams, rising to 12,281 feet 45 miles south of Mount Rainier. We didn't have that clear a day--we hadn't even seen Rainier until we were right under it--but we did get a glimpse. Fortunately, you can pump up the contrast on a photo and make something like this more obvious.

Most people know that Rainier and Adams are both stratovolcanoes, conical mountains built up by successive eruptions of extremely viscous lava flows. These are only two of many similar volcanoes rising at sporadic intervals all along the Cascades, from northern California to British Columbia. We drove past Mount Baker on our way to and from North Cascades National Park. We drove past Mount St. Helens 30 miles west of Mount Adams after we left Rainier. We'd see Mount Hood just over the Columbia River the day after this. A few days later, we'd come near California's Mount Shasta, though we wouldn't see it. And we'd see two more national parks built in the collapsed remnants of stratovolcanoes in Oregon and California.

Their volcanism is driven by the continuing subduction of the Juan de Fuca Plate beneath North America. A simplified explanation of the process starts with the plate taking a lot of water bound up in hydrated minerals down with it as it sinks. The water reacts with the crustal material at the bottom of the North American continental plate and causes some of it to melt. Those globs of melted continent then well up through the continent and erupt in this line of volcanoes. The last significant eruption of Adams was about 1,400 years ago, but neither Adams nor Rainier are considered extinct. Either could go off at any time.

Best. thing. ever. The cupboards have pullouts!

Carcass next to a pullout on the Middle Fork road. Looks gross and smelled worse. It was the size of a large goat or a small donkey. I'm guessing it's in the llama family based on the large teeth on the lower jaw.

It has light, quiet nylon hose .It provides superior ergonomic, easy-to-use.MasterClean sprayface, finishes resist corrosion and tarnishing, spout rotates 360 degrees with large pots and pans, available in two sizes.

Disclaimer: The photo albums in this Flickr account are not intended to be collections of my best hand-picked images. Such images are included but the vast majority of images, 9670 and counting, commingled among the few gallery-worthy images, are snapshots, bad shots and missed shots (the bad shots containing some element of the composition that strikes my fancy despite its flaws thus saving it from the Recycle Bin and the missed shots being those photos where the exposure and/or DoF were not completely appropriate). There is trip documentation and there are pure experiments (including multiple treatments of the same scene such as different angles, different post processing, different times of day, sunrise/sunset progressions, zoom progressions, etc.). This account is basically a secondary backup location with convenient captioning, titling & EXIF capabilities.

This was a roadside pullout from the White Mountains. From here you can see a lovely and jagged view of the Southern Sierra Nevada.

arrived today. But instead of having molding that matched the doors and drawers but was scaled down, what arrived was blanks scribed for false drawers but with no moldings.

In addition, all of these alder doors were promised as distressed and glazed. They haven't been. Peter says he's sending the finisher to do it onsite.

Yeah. When??????

This man is an IDIOT or thinks I'm one who's going to put up with this crap!

Taken at a pull out on the side of the 2 lane Highway 4, somewhere east of Kennedy Lake. This road winds its way across the middle of Vancouver Island between Coombs and Tofino, taking you through the most gorgeous primeval landscape, an inland port, logging areas, and Cathedral Grove redwood forest.
