This is the Amstel Hotel in Amsterdam, reflected in a puddle!
this light trails image was captured last year during our 2 week tour of Italy...my wife went into the store in the middle of this image to buy some gelato so i hurriedly set up for some long exposure shots while waiting...just put the camera on a dry spot on the ground close to the puddle and waited for some scooters and mini cars to pass along so i could get some vibrant light trails in the shot...my first try came out decent and turned out to be one of my fave shots from that city...pls .View On Black
I light painted a “cat” with a Photon I keychain mircolight behind this lensball on a big puddle.

so much rain recently that loads of fields are floooded - saw this and had to double back - found somewhere to park and walked to this part - frosty and cold but so beautifully still - perfect weather for getting out

hmmf! stupid Old Mr Lives-Down-The-Road has never been told its rude to stare at girls sitting in puddles. Obviously no one told him not to slow down to a halt in his car while staring either, my entire neighborhood now thinks Im insane. :/
Im grumpy and tired. I went to a carnival today...it rained, 'twasn't fun :)
(oooh yeah, my reflections looking straight into the camera, if you look carefully. :D )
Special thanks to Chloe who helped me choose between photos. She also happens to be my fave flickr contact ever, her pictures are beyond beautiful. GO CHECK OUT HER WORK NOW! :D

Typical Amsterdam buildings and a Scooterboy+girlfriend, reflected in a puddle.
It looks a bit as if they come scooting out of the puddle, and maybe they did :)
"My God, Help Me to Survive this Deadly Love "is the title of this most popular mural on the Berlin Wall. The painting depicts Leonid Brezhnev (Russian President) and Erich Honecker(DDR President) in a socialist fraternal kiss, reproducing a photograph taken in 1979 during the 30th anniversary celebration of the foundation of the German Democratic Republic.
Everyone wants their photo taken in front of this mural. Sometimes there is small crowds lined up to get a photo. It is hard to get a photo with no one near this popular mural.

another reflection shot of the city skyline captured around the fountain in Olive Park in downtown Chicago...i am actually right in the middle of the fountain which is turned off during the cold season...some rain passed thru overnight so there were lots of puddles on the floor of the fountain area letting me have some fun comping reflection images...the bleak, gray weather and the mist hanging in the atmosphere almost made this frame look like i did a selective coloring treatment because the only colors noted here would be from the splash of yellow bushes but this is actually a SOOC image...if you guys haven't been to this park yet, you have got to check it out...it's not crowded with tourists, it's quiet, great view of the skyline and close to Navy Pier and Ohio Beach...pls. this is the $7 million dollar beach house on one of the most popular spots along Chicago's lakefront, North Avenue Beach...the structure is actually designed and shaped like an ocean liner with blue and white paint color schemes...the building has an eatery, concession stands, a lifeguard station, rental stations for bikes, volleyball equipment, chairs and restrooms...this frame was captured on our night shoot meetup last saturday and you can see 5 of that night's shooters taking refuge for a bit from the cold wind that was howling that night...by placing my camera right on the pavement, i was able to get this really low pov and get some reflections in there as well...have a great night folks...pls.
