An alternate shot from Eva's week 25 picture. Making the most our of puddles after a few days of heavy rain. The other version ('into the looking glass' is linked in the comments.
When we had a ton a rain earlier this month, my daughter begged me to take her to the biggest puddle so she could play in her new Christmas wellies.
Happy Sunday Sliders...
Puddle 2017 has come and gone, and I wanted to say thank you to all the sponsors, vendors, attendees, and especially the Puddle staff for making such a wonderful event possible!! It was non stop dolly fun starting Friday afternoon, and lasting until late Saturday night.
Thank you to everyone who took time to stop and chat with me or my husband and sister, I know it's a really busy day and there isn't time enough to talk and see everyone before the end of the event, so I really appreciate everyone's friendliness this weekend! It was a very wild busy weekend and I can't believe how fast it went by! I had a lot of fun and can't wait to see everyone again next year.
I wanted to show the contents of the gift and guest vendor table bags that we received this year! The Buyl is my souvenir this year, I adopted her during the Fri trade night, but most everything else came from the donations of many kind people for the gift bags. These events wouldn't be possible if it were not for everyone's generosity every year!! So thank you again! And a big thank you to my sister @instaplague for doing all the artwork for the gift bag, mugs, badges, pins, and more this year, I think she did a wonderful job!

Week 39 photochallenge : Water Meets Land
Janss Marketplace in Thousand Oaks, California, has this amazing outdoor fountain that is a gathering place for moms and their young children during the summer. The time of day allowed for this awesome reflection in the puddles that formed on the ground.
Note to self, when jumping in dirty puddles, don't look down!
Waders would have been better than wellies!
The rain was falling in this puddle and I saw the little white feather so I took a photo. Actually I took 98 photos! Though I could easily see lots of raindrops falling in the puddle, the camera couldn't. So I took several bursts. I judged this to be the best - in most there was no indication of rain falling.
Happy Reflected Fence Friday folks :)! This was taken during a rather wonderful 14 mile walk on Tuesday - well it was more of a cross between a paddle and a mud bath really ;) There was a lovely pastel pink sunset - nice for the pictures, not so nice for me as I had several miles still to walk!! I had to drop off the hills down a very slippery and muddy path in the pitch black.....although thankfully I always carry a torch and head light with me :)! Fantastic - really enjoyed it!! Anyone who hasn't walked in the dark before should try it - you'll have the countryside all to yourself.........unless I'm around of course ;))
Hope you have all had a great week. We have snow down here :))!!
Here's a link to my latest BLOG entry.
After the previous nights rain was hoping for more water on site but I like to think this shot works.
Love is like trying to jump over a puddle of water
If you jump a puddle,
You are always taking the chance that you are going to get wet,
Even if you don’t want to;
But if you make it, then you have accomplished something;
And you are able to go on with what you were doing happy.
But even if you get wet
You will have to remember that you will get dry
Sooner or Later
So if you know its going to happen
Sooner or later
Then why not make it sooner?

Most of what I came home with from PUDDLE - there may still be a few things unpacked. Tracy Hindes Mills of The Little Iron Bed generously gifted me with a tea-themed dress! Got some cute things from my table host Art Psymon, a tea tin from Crayola Bolger, a dress from Patty WellerMade, great stuff from the gift bag, a set of name badge prints from buboplague. I didn't have a chance to check the Leave Something/Take Something box until I got home - found one set of blue panties in there.
