I like my bread pudding to have a nice chew as opposed to the light fluffy texture that some have. In addition to that chew this had great flavors. Banana, chocolate, fresh fig. Could have done without the almonds.
Over all this was a wonderful rendition of something that should be an easy crowd pleasure but is a giant let down at so many restaurants.

So every summer my friends and I make pudding, put it in a ziploc baggie, and take it somewhere fun. Like the skate park. Or the beach. We were sitting on the dock and wrote summer 2010, with the pudding. It washed away, but there was a mark left for the next few days from the sugar that had soaked in.
This chocolate pudding is based on the classic chocolate cornstarch pudding, replacing the cornstarch with arrowroot powder. It is gluten free, dairy free, egg free and corn free.
