Psychedelic electric lady just appeared in this abstract shot.

Artwork by Rick Griffin for the best/only poster store in NYC, Psychedelic Solution, on 8th Street near Washington Square Park - "Harbinger of Emotional Geometry Since 1967". Postcard announces 1st catalog printed by the store.

One of the guitarist's shadow against the wall at the Acoustic Open Mic Night in Plymouth, Wisconsin.

It's a gig I shoot once a month for a friend and his wife who head up this free and enjoyable night for all skill levels. At first it was intimidating to do a public shoot like this, having never done anything public before. I've been at it for about two years now and have improved my skills and gained much of the confidence I was aiming for. I may follow this shot by posting a few more portraits of some of the artists who participate in this event.

The image above looked nothing like this straight out of camera. I had a lot of fun with it in post-processing :))

Just what everyone wants to see on their lunch container...skulls and crossbones and psychedelic talking mushrooms. :-)

(Still won't deter your office lunch thief though.)

Yes, that is Twiggy's eye. The psychedelic patterned circle is from an album cover (circa 1968) designed by The Fool (a Dutch design collective) for the British psychedelic group "The Move".

Are these all psychedelic? I don't even know what that word means, really.

1965 Rolls Royce owned by John Lennon

According to the sign at the Henry Ford Museum's exhibit of Rock Star Cars:

"When John Lennon, a working-class kid from Liverpool, England, became a mega-rich international rock star as a member of the Beatles, he did what wealthy upper-class Brits had been doing for decades--he bought a Rolls Royce. Heavily customized from the start, Lennon had it repainted and decorated in 1967, to fit his own and the Beatles' evolving style and sensibilities. Lennon allowed the Phantom V to be used by the other Beatles and, later, by other rock stars like The Rolling Stones, The Moody Blues and Bob Dylan.

Car Facts: John Lennon wasn't going to drive a standard Rolls Royce. He added a radio-telephone, custom sound system, television, refrigerator, and a back seat that converted into a bed. The crowning touch was the swirling custom paint job, inspired by Gypsy caravans."

Trying to capture every detail inside the big water drop :)

Very random water drops and colors reflecting from many directions.

I'm submitting this for Daily Shoot's assignment #536 - Randomness

Don’t know why this image impacted me so much.

Maybe a shrink could shed some more light :)

This shot is about as SOOC as you can get from me.

I wondered a bit if an exact square would be more fitting and 'classical' in this case.

Decided to go for the more open feel.
